This reader is capable “Heading AVID and I’I'ICAVA tags. and detecting the presence of
ISO I’DX-B electronic idcntilicaliun lags.
INSTRUCTION . Ilnw to use the AV") Reader:
1. Power Button: Turn the reader ON by sliding the lower right hand button on the face
of the render. forward. When the reader is powered mt. it will emit a double heep sound
and the LCD will display AVII) Reader. To turn the reader OFF. slide the button back.
2. Read Button; Press lhe upper right button on the reader to put the reader into the
LOOKING mode. The LCD will display LOOKING. When a microchip is I‘nundv the
reader will emit two beep tunes and display the number on the LCD. ll'an ISO lr'DX-B
tag is detected the LCD will display ISO TAG FOUNI). If the read button is released
hetin‘e finding a microchip. the message N0 II) FOUND will display on the LCD.
