Try to avoid placing the receiver in a metal building or underground.
Do not stand between transmitter and receiver while sending commands.
Try to avoid having trees, buildings, or hills between the transmitter and
receiver.
Plugging the receiver into an Abacus remote jack mounted on the outside of
the building will often increase maximum range.
If no keys are pressed on the remote, the remote will shut down the zone that
is running after approximately 1 hour.
If the receiver is unplugged while a zone is still running, watering of that zone
will shut down after approximately 5 minutes.
