the instant connectivity to multiple PCs over a home's
existing telephone lines.
You can share network-enabled printers, transfer files
between computers, play network games, and more-

telephone wires just like the ones you use everyday.

HARDWARE INSTALLATION
Before you begin, make sure you turn off all power to
your computer.

Remove the chassis cover of your computer.
Align the contact edge of the PCI 1M
PhoneLine Network Adapter toward the
connector of any free PCI Bus Master expansion
slot. Push firmly and slowly until it is fully
seated in the connector.
Screw the PCI 1M PhoneLine Network
Adapter to the computer chassis with the
provided screws.
Replace the computer’s chassis cover.
Turn on your computer.
Connecting Telephone Cabling
Attach one end of the telephone wire to the PCI
1M PhoneLine Network Adapter’s RJ-l l
telephone port.
Connect the other end of the Wire into a
telephone jack in your wall‘
SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
Once your PC] 1M PhoneLine Network Adapter has
been successfully installed into the computer, turn on
your computer and the system will automatically
detect the new hardware. Insert the driver diskette for
the PCI 1M PhoneLine Network Adapter into the
floppy disk drive.
To efficiently help you to setup the proper driver for
your PCI 1M PhoneLlne Network Adapter, an on-
line documentation named DOC.PDF was provided
in the folder/subdirectory corresponding to the
operating system you are working with. For example,
if your are working with Windows 98, go to the
WIN98 folder, click win98doc.pdf. To View this file,
you must have Acrobat Reader 40, a free
downloadable utility, installed
