PRESSUREPRO® INSTALLATION
& OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Congratulations on your purchase of the PressurePro tire pressure
monitoring system – the finest system of its type on the market
today. Read and follow installation instructions to properly install
your system for best operation and performance.
PRESSUREPRO SYSTEM BASIC CAPABILITIES and DESCRIPTION:
PressurePro is a wireless electronic tire pressure monitoring system designed to
alert to low tire pressures. PressurePro can be used on cars, RVs, trucks,
trailers, commercial and towed vehicles.
PressurePro consists of two basic components: Sensors and a Monitor.
Sensors assess the air pressure in each tire and when it drops, a coded signal is
transmitted to the Monitor located in the vehicle. A flashing light and an audible
alarm alert the driver to the tire location that has low pressure. The low-
pressure reading will flash in the window on the face of the Monitor. Should
tire pressure continue to drop, a second, more urgent warning alerts again to
low pressure. The low-pressure tire location flashes with the low pressure tire
reading on the Monitor.
NOTE: PressurePro is meant only as a low-pressure warning system alerting you of a
pressure leak or a low tire situation. PressurePro will not prevent a catastrophic tire
failure (tire bursting). In a catastrophic failure, a PressurePro sensor may be ejected
from valve stem.
CAUTION: Tires and valve stems should be in good condition and inflated
properly. A visual inspection of each tire on a regular basis is recommended.
PressurePro does not prevent low tire pressure. PressurePro will alert when
tire pressures are low allowing action to be taken.
WARNING: If PressurePro sounds an alert while you are driving,
immediately pull over in a location safely away from other traffic, check tire
location, and correct low-pressure problem.
SYSTEM COMPONENTS:
1. Shown to the right are two PressurePro monitors.
2. Sensors, one for each tire. Reads tire pressures and automatically transmits
pressure readings to the Monitor.

HOW TO:
CHECK TIRE PRESSURE WITH PRESSUREPRO – To determine current tire
pressures, move vehicle(s) so that tires rotate at least 1 full turn. To review tire
pressures, press the “UP” or “DOWN” arrow, with the Monitor in Normal Mode, to
select the tire you wish to display. (It may take several seconds to obtain readings
from all tire Sensors.) Using a magnet can also check the tire pressure. Holding a
magnet close to the sensor for 5 seconds triggers the sensor to send a pressure
reading to the Monitor. To review tire pressures, press the “UP” or “DOWN” arrow,
with the Monitor in Normal Mode, to select the tire you wish to display.
MANUALLY CHECK TIRE PRESSURES and INFLATE TIRES – It is
recommended that tire pressures be checked on a regular basis with a quality tire
pressure gauge. Remove Sensors from valve stems, check pressure, and inflate
tire if necessary. Reinstall Sensor. Reprogramming the sensor is not necessary if
it is reinstalled to the same tire location. If removed, leave off for at least 30
seconds so that new warning levels can be set based on corrected tire pressure.
ACCOMMODATE A LOST SENSOR – If a Sensor is lost or removed, the system
will alert after approximately 15 minutes. The location of a lost Sensor will light and
flash, “- - -” will flash with that location, and an audible “beeping” will sound. Stop
and check that tire location. If a Sensor is missing, it is possible to change to a
less-frequent ‘reminder’ alarm by pressing any button. A full alert will return every
15 minutes if the vehicle continues to move.
INTERRUPTION WHILE INSTALLING – If, during installation, an interruption
occurs and the installer is delayed for more than 2 minutes, the system will “time
out” to Normal Mode. Lights on wheel locations will go out. To restart installation,
hold “SET” until the green light remains on (~5 seconds). The Monitor will show a
solid light for wheels with sensors installed. Continue installation from step #5 of
the “Installation Instructions” Section.
INFLATING TIRES – When inflating tires, it is necessary to remove the sensors
from the valve stem. Pressurize tires to proper level and check with a reliable air
gauge. Reinstall Sensor. Sensor will now read the new pressure and transmit this
new reading to the Monitor as the new reference point. Reprogramming the
sensor is not necessary if it is reinstalled to the same tire location.
CHANGING THE ALARM STATE – Press any button after the alarm sounds. This
puts the alarm in ‘reminder’ mode. If there is no button press after 15 minutes,
‘reminder’ mode will activate automatically. A slow “alert” beep will continue to be
given as a reminder of a low-pressure or missing sensor situation. If alarm is due
to a lost sensor, the location may be deleted from the system by holding the SET
button for 10 seconds. The sensor will be deleted, along with all corresponding
alarms.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF A SENSOR IS LOST, STOLEN OR DAMAGED?
A Missing Sensor Warning will occur. Delete the sensor from the Monitor (see
“SET” Button in the “Button Description:” sections. If a sensor is lost, call
Advantage PressurePro as soon as possible at – 800-959-3505 – to order a new
Sensor.
WHY DOESN’T THE MONITOR STAY IN PROGRAM MODE?
The Monitor will automatically exit Program Mode if no button is pressed for 3
minutes.
HOW DO I TURN OFF THE WARNING BUZZER?
The buzzer is only turned off when the selected tire does not have a warning. The
easiest method to do this is pressing the “ON” button.
HOW LONG WILL MY SENSOR BATTERY LAST?
Battery life is affected by many factors, including extremely hot or cold
temperatures, frequent starts, length of trip, and especially during low air pressure
alerts. Anytime a low air warning exists, the Sensor is continually transmitting the
error message to the monitor. This message is sent until the low pressure problem
is corrected. (See "Sensor Battery Life" Section)
WHAT DO I DO ABOUT A LOW SENSOR BATTERY ALERT?
Batteries are not replaceable. It is necessary to replace the entire Sensor.
Immediately call 800-959-3505 and reorder.
WHAT SHOULD BE DONE IF A LOW PRESSURE ALERT IS SOUNDED?
Immediately pull over and check Monitor for low tire location, and physically check
tire and plan for the repair.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I REMOVE A SENSOR TO FILL A TIRE?
When inflating a tire, remove Sensor and inflate to recommended level. Screw
Sensor back onto the valve stem. The new tire pressure reading has now been
accepted and transmitted to the Monitor. This new level now becomes the
reference pressure reading from which alerts are triggered. When removing a
sensor to fill tire, remove for at least 30 seconds and system will automatically
accept the new pressure as reference point. Reprogramming the sensor is not
necessary if it is reinstalled to the same tire location.
NOTE – ‘Reference value’ is defined as the vehicle's recommended tire pressure.
The tires must be inflated to this pressure before installing the Sensors, which
will cause them to remember that level as the basis for setting the trigger-
pressure alarms. Each time the Sensor is removed for more than 30 seconds and
reinstalled, the reference value will be reset to the tire pressure at that time.
SYSTEM SPECIFICS, TIPS and ADVANTAGES:
Some vehicles are frequently stored for prolonged periods of time. If a vehicle with a
PressurePro system is left in storage with a PressurePro Monitor operating (Monitors
only draw 25 mA on standby) and a tire deflates, the Sensor will transmit an alert.
When this occurs, the Monitor alarm and the audible alert will shut down after
approximately 2 minutes, but troubled tire location will remain flashing on the Monitor
until it is reset. This faithful operation represents a good case for leaving the system
ON at all times. One should know the general condition of all tires before moving the
vehicle from the storage area because a deflated tire can be ruined over a very short
distance.
The sensor guarding the previously balanced tire on a typical RV or truck seldom
necessitates that the tire balance be reassessed. The very small 12-13” tires that are
on some cars may require attention. If re-balancing is desired, merely attach to the
wheel either a ½ oz. stick-on-weight or a conventional hammer-on-weight to a
location across from the Sensor and valve stem.
CAUTION: If you have Alcoa dual wheels and use extension tubes, it is strongly
advised that you use an Alcoa Valve Stem Extension Grommet Stabilization Kit to
secure more rigidly, the inner wheel valve stem extension tubes. Although
PressurePro did not develop or manufacture the kit, the kit does effectively augment
PressurePro installations on Alcoa dual wheels. Kits may be ordered from
PressurePro.

cPlug in the Monitor and connect it to the lighter accessory via the furnished power cord. Wait 5 seconds.
dTo enter PROGRAM MODE, hold the button down until the green light below the button remains on solid
(after approx. 5 seconds).
Note: If no button is pressed for 3 minutes or is pressed, you will exit PROGRAM MODE and enter
NORMAL MODE.
When no sensor has been installed, the Monitor will display “No Sensor” as “νο”, “ΣΕν”, “Σορ.”
A pressure value is only displayed in PROGRAM MODE when a new sensor is received (green light will also be flashing
2x per second). Once in program mode, the driver side front tire position begins to flash.
eScrew any sensor onto the valve stem of the tire corresponding to the flashing tire location on the Monitor.
TIGHTEN BY HAND ONLY. USING A TOOL TO TIGHTEN MAY DAMAGE THE SENSOR OR VALVE STEM.
fWait for the Monitor to display a tire pressure and start flashing the green light twice per second (may take a minute
after sensor is screwed on). This is the only time a pressure value is displayed in PROGRAM MODE.
gOnce the pressure is displayed, hold until the green light becomes solid again (approx. 1 second). This associates
the sensor with its tire location, and moves to the next tire. You may skip unused tire positions by using the
buttons.
hRepeat steps 3 -- 5 for each tire location.
NOTE: If no pressure is displayed and green light is still solid after a minute, a signal was not received.
Reposition Monitor slightly inside vehicle to achieve a better signal. Remove the sensor from the tire for at
least 30 seconds to reset it, screw the sensor on the tire, and return to step #4.
iWhen all sensors are installed, press to exit PROGRAM MODE.
jThe Monitor is now in NORMAL MODE and the display will be lit with solid red lights indicating each tire location with a
sensor installed. Use the buttons to cycle through the tire locations.
kAfter successfully completing the above, mount the Monitor in your desired location.
