SETUP PROCEDURE
1. Insert the Sansa Car FM Transmitter
into the car's cigarette lighter or
FM Transmitter
power socket. Firmly push the unit 5°" Clip
securely into the socket. WP LWP ' use Plug
2. Tune your car's FM stereo to an
unused FM frequency using the
car's FM stereo own system.
3. Turn down volume of you car's FM
stereo to avoid sudden noise.
4. Bend and position the flexible neck
to the desired position.
5. Slide the Sansa MPSNVMP player _‘
into the belt clip.
6. (Be sure the stereo and USB plugs
cannot be pulled down at this stage.)
Place the player and belt clip
together onto the cradle. Push the
belt clip down to the cradle until you DOW" Elm"
hear a click sound.
7. Now( put down the top part of FM
Transmitter, which contains the
stereo and USB plugs and secure
the headphone jack and USB socket
of player are fully connected.
8. Turn your player on. The PM Cweflmcm
Transmitter will turn on instantly Cwa'm WW
when audio is detected. Remember
that when there is no audio input for P3
5 minutes, the FM Transmitter will
turn off automatically.
9. Select the frequency using the UP
and DOWN buttons on the front of
FM Transmitter
10. Adjust the volume on the player for
maximum enjoyment

FEATURES

The Sansa Car FM Transmitter instantly turns on when any audio signal is detected.
Once the unit detects the audio signal, the LCD display lights up and shows the
current radio frequency received. If there is no detection of audio signals for 5 minutes
the unit will automatically shutoff.

The Sansa Car FM Transmitter transmits on the full spectrum of FM band from 88.1 to
107.9 Mhz. You can have the cleanest audio signals by choosing the radio frequency
with the least interference. The unit provides you 3 memory presets to store and
change radio frequencies simply and directly.
To store a radio frequency into memory:
1. Using the UP and DOWN buttons, tune your car's FM stereo to the frequency with
little or no interference.
2. Press one ofthe 3 preset buttons (SET 1, 2 or 3) below the LCD display. Hold the
button until you see light on the display blinks, normally for 2-3 seconds.
3. Then the frequency is stored into memory. Repeat the above steps to store up to 2
more radio frequencies utilizing the remaining buttons.

‘3‘ Unique Belt Clip carries the player with you when you get off the car.
To unplug your MP3IWMA player from the FM Transmitter:
1. Pull the top part of FM Transmitter. which contains the stereo and USB plugs, away
from the player.
2. Simply press and hold buttons on both sides of the cradle to release belt clip.
3. Pull the top loop of belt clip away from the FM Transmitter.
4. Now, the player and belt clip are separated from the FM Transmitter. (Slide the
player away from belt clip if you need.)
~2~ Replaceable Safety Fuse
The Sansa Car FM Transmitter is engineered with a replaceable safety fuse to protect
from potentially damaging spikes or short circuits.
To replace the fuse in case the power has been cutoff:
1. Unscrew the end of plug that directly connects to the car‘s cigarette lighter. Remove
it slowly so that the small parts at the end do not get lost.
2. Replace the old fuse with a new one available
at any car supply store.
3. Close the end of plug firmly with its cover.

The exact dimensions of car's cigarette lighters vary by make and model of your car. If
the power outlet of your car's cigarette lighters is bigger in diameter than the plug of
the Sansa Car FM Transmitter, the FM Transmitter will wiggle as you push it into the
power outlet. This poor situation may be improved by putting the Fit Ring (included
with the product) onto the plug before connected to the power outlet, Make Sure that
all four protrusions fit into the power outlet.
To replace the Fit Ring onto the plug:
1. Unscrew the end of plug that directly connects to the car's cigarette lighter. Remove
it slowly so that the small parts at the end do not get lost.
