Information to the UserWireless InteroperabilityThe Dell TrueMobile 1150 Series products are designed to be inter-operable with any wireless LAN product thatis based on Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) radio technology, and is compliant to:The IEEE 802.11 Standard on Wireless LANs (Revision B), as defined and approved by the Institute ofElectrical and Electronics Engineers.The Wireless Fidelity (WiFi) certification as defined by the WECA Wireless Ethernet Compatibility Alliance.Dell TrueMobile 1150 Series and your HealthDell TrueMobile 1150 Series, like other radio devices, emit radio frequency electromagnetic energy. The level ofenergy emitted by ORiNOCO devices however is far much less than the electromagnetic energy emitted bywireless devices like for example mobile phones.Because Dell TrueMobile 1150 Series operates within the guidelines found in radio frequency safety standardsand recommendations, Dell believes it is safe for use by consumers. These standards and recommendationsreflect the consensus of the scientific community and result from deliberations of panels and committees ofscientists who continually review and interpret the extensive research literature.In some situations or environments, the use of Dell TrueMobile 1150 Series may be restricted by the proprietorof the building or responsible representatives of the organization.
