PB - 7
The Panic Button is used to activate the panic alarm.
PANIC BUTTON
Pressing this button once will trigger the panic alarm regardless
of whether the system is Armed or Disarmed.
TX INDICATOR
When the Red Panic button is pressed, the TX LED will flash to
indicate the PB-7 is transmitting a signal to the Control Panel.
Battery
The Panic Button uses one CR2032 Lithium battery as its power source. The battery is good for at least 5 years
before it needs changing.
PB-7 can also detect the low battery status. The low battery signal will be sent to the Control Panel along with
regular signal transmission for the Control Panel to display the status accordingly.
Getting Started
Remove the screw to separate the top cover from the base.
Insert the battery with negative of the battery on the spring side.
Place the top case over the base and tighten them with the screw.
Put the Control Panel into “Device +/-“ menu and then select “Add Device” menu.
Press any buttons on the PB-7.
Refer to the operation manual of your control panel under the section of “Device +/-“ to complete the
learn-in process.
Mounting the PB-7
There are two ways to mount the PB-7 by either Self-adhesive installation or Screw mounting.
Self adhesive installation
I. Clean the surface with a suitable degreaser.
II. Remove the protective covering from one side of the double-sided adhesive pad and firmly apply to
the back of the device.
III. Next remove the other cover and firmly press the item onto the desired location.
< NOTE >
Do not use the adhesive pad method of installation on a surface with peeling or cracked paint,
or on a rough surface.
Screw Mounting
The base has two knockouts, where the plastic is thinner for mounting purpose. To mount the PB-7:
I.
Remove the screw to separate the top cover from the base.
II. Break through the knockouts on the base.
III. Using the holes as a template, drill two holes and insert the wall plug.
IV. Screw the base into the wall plug.
V. Screw the top cover back on to its base
