Water Sensor (WS-7 315MHZ)
Water Sensor is specially designed to detect if the water level is above a certain level
that may damage your protected goods. It is a device that helps to manage your
protected place and goods by keeping it nice and dry.
Test Button
I. POWER:
The WATER SENSOR uses 4 AAA alkaline batteries as its power source. The battery is good
for at least 5 years before it needs changing.
The WATER SENSOR will only detect the low battery (< 3.6V) when an alarm has been
activated. The low battery signal will be sent to the Control Panel along with the alarm signal
transmission for the Control Panel to display the status accordingly.
II. GETTING STARTED:
Step 1:
Remove the cover by losing the two fixing screw on the top and bottom of
WATER SENSOR
Step 2:
Insert 4 AAA alkaline batteries in the battery compartment
Step 3:
Put the Control Panel into Learning Mode.
Step 4:
Press the Test Button on the Water Sensor, and a radio signal will be
transmitted to the Control Panel for learning.
Step 5:
Please refer to the panel’s manual for checking the panel’s response. If the water
sensor has not been learnt-in successfully, please repeat step 4 again.
Step 6:
Put the Control Panel back to standby mode.
Step 7:
The Learning-In process is now completed.
III. MOUNTING WATER SENSOR:
The base has two knockouts, where the plastic is thinner for mounting purpose. To mount
the SW-7:
I.
Remove the screw to separate the top cover from the base.
II.
Break through the two knockouts on the base where the plastic is thinner.
III.
Using the 2 knockouts on the base as a template, drill two holes in the
surface.
IV.
Insert the wall plugs if fixing into plaster or brick
V.
Clips the lid to the base
VI.
Screw Water Sensor to the wall
VII.
Locate the plastic clip and remove the cover from the adhesive pad
VIII.
Fix the probes within the plastic clip and firmly press the clip onto the desired
location.
IV. NORMAL OPERATION:
Mount the Water Sensor on the wall whereas drop the black wire onto the floor level or any
height that you want to detect the increasing water level.
When the probes first come in contact with water, Water Sensor sends an alarm
signal to the control panel to notify the user.

After Water Sensor enters Normal Operation Mode, please make sure to
wipe up the remnant water on the probes.
V. Supervisory Signal
If the Control Panel has not received the signal from the Water Sensor for a preset
period of time, the Control Panel will indicate it on its display to show that particular
Water Sensor is experiencing an out-of-signal problem.
