time.

Warning:

Bluetooth Pairing
AVCMULTIMEDIA(“AVC”)makesthefollowinglimitedwarranty.Thislimitedwarrantyextendto
the original consumer purchaser and is limited to non-commercial use of the product.
One Year Parts & Labor Warranty
AVCproductspurchasedintheUnitedStatesarewarrantedtobefreefromdefectsinmaterials
or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of their original retail purchase. If the unit
fails to conform to this warranty, we will service the product using new or refurbished parts and
products,atAVC’ssolediscretion.
During a period of one year from the effective warranty date, AVC will provide, when needed,
service labor to repair a manufacturing defect at its designated Service Center. To obtain warranty
serviceintheUnitedStates,youmustrstcallourCustomerSupportCenterat1-800-506-5746
or1-877-252-6873,duringthehourslistedintheboxbelow.Thedeterminationofservicewillbe
madebyAVCCustomerSupport.PLEASEDONOTRETURNYOURUNITTOAVCWITHOUTPRIOR
AUTHORIZATION. New or remanufactured replacements for defective parts or products will be
usedforrepairsbyAVCatitsdesignatedServiceCenterforoneyearfromtheeffectivewarranty
date. Such replacement parts or products are warranted for an additional one year from the date
of repair or replacement. The Customer will be required to ship the unit to the Service Center
indicated at the time Customer Support is contacted to make the necessary repairs. The customer
is responsible for all transportation charges to the service facility.
Packaging and Shipping Instruction
WhenyousendtheproducttotheAVCservicefacilityyoumustusetheoriginalcartonboxand
packingmaterialoranequivalentasdesignatedbyAVC.
LIMITED WARRANTY
Your Responsibility
(1) You must retain the original sale receipt to provide proof of purchase.
(2) These warranties are effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the U.S.A. or
Canada.
(3) Warranties extend only to defects in material or workmanship, and do not extend to any
product or parts which have been lost or discarded, or damage to product or parts caused by
misuse, accident, improper operation or maintenance, or use in violation of instructions provided
withtheproduct,ortoproductwhichhasbeenalteredormodiedwithoutauthorizationofAVC,
or to products or parts thereof which have had the serial number removed or changed.

terms of these warranties in any manner whatsoever. The time within action must be commenced
toenforceanyobligationofAVCarisingunderthewarrantyorunderanystatute,orlawofthe
United States or any state thereof, is hereby limited to one year from the date of purchase. This
limitation does not apply to implied warranties arising under state law.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which may vary,
from state to state. Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts,
when an action may be brought, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
damages, so the above provisions may not apply to you.

the AUDIO OUT of your TV, Set-Top Box
or Blu-ray/DVD Player. Be sure to match
connector colors.
LINE IN
Plug one end of a 3.5mm cable (included)
into the LINE IN jack (side panel) on the
Sound Bar into your iPad®, iPhone®,
iPod® or other audio devices.
1. PressSTANDBY/ONbuttontoturnontheunit.
2. Press SOURCE / toselectAUX1,AUX2,LINEINorBluetoothsource(input).The
LEDs located on top of Sound Bar will indicate the currently-selected source.
3. PressVOLUME / , BASS / or TREBLE / toadjustVolume,BassorTreble
levels.WhenadjustingVolume,BassorTreble,thefourLEDswilltemporarilydisplay
the current level setting (see illustration).
Before Bluetooth pairing, you should turn on the Bluetooth function of your other
device (such as, mobile phone with Bluetooth function) and select RCA RTS7220B.
1. Press SOURCE button on the unit or button on the remote control to select BT
(Bluetooth) mode.
2. The Bluetooth indicator blinks at slow speed and it auto searches for the last paired
Bluetooth device in memory.
3. Once it enters the pairing status, the Bluetooth indicator will blink at high speed.
• IftheBluetoothpairingissuccessful,theBluetoothindicatorwillilluminate.
• IftheBluetoothpairingisnotxed,theBluetoothindicatorwillblinkatslowspeed.
Please try again.
Note: If your Bluetooth device (such as, mobile phone) needs the password while
pairing,pleaseenter4-digitnumber:0000.
ENJOY THE MUSIC THROUGH BLUETOOTH
• Press to begin or pause playback
• Press / to select a specific track
• Pressandhold / tostartmovingbackward/forwardathighspeed.
Caution:
• We recommend thatWall-mounting be carried out by a professional. The stands’
“key-holes” areintendedfor usewith #8(Imperial) orM4 (Metric) withhead size:
Diameter7.5- 9.4mm. Additionaloralternativepartsmaybe neededforcertain
types of wall constructions.
• Make sure that the wall-mount is xed securely enough so that it meets safety
standards.
• Allowatleast2”(5cm)separationinalldirectionsbetweentheSoundBarandother
AVequipment(suchasyourTVorSet-TopBox).
• Itisrecommendedthatallcables(ACadapterandAudiocables)beconnectedto
the Sound Bar before placing it on the wall.

Limited Warranty

• Ensure the source you’ve selected is outputting audio. If you’re
using“audioout”fromyourTV,pleaseensureyourTViscongured
tooutputaudio(seeTV’smenusettings).
• EnsureyourAVconnectionsareproperlymade(ensureyoudon’t
have any loose connections).
• Ensure you’ve selected the correct source (input) - the LEDs
located on the top of the Sound Bar will indicate the currently-
selected source (input).
• Ifbatteryisweak,pleasereplacethebatteryandensurethenew
battery is installed correctly.
• Pleaseensurethereisnothingblockingtheremotesensoronthe
front of the Sound Bar.
PROBLEMS

Power Supply
USING THE AC ADAPTER
Using an AC adapter other than the one supplied with the unit may damage the unit.
Caution:
• Beforeuse,ensuretheratedvoltageoftheadaptermatchesyourlocalvoltage.
• The included AC adapter is for use with this unit only. Do not use it with other
equipment.
• Ifyouarenotgoingtousetheunitforalongtime,disconnecttheACadapterfrom
the wall outlet.
• WhenevertheACadapterispluggedintoawalloutlet,theACadapterwilldraw
some power, even when the Sound Bar is turned off.

The Sound Bar can be placed freestanding on a table or mounted on a wall.
PLACING THE SOUNDBAR ON A WALL
The Soundbar requires additional mounting hardware that must be purchased
separately.
1. Place the wall mount template on the wall and then mark the locations of the screw
holes.
2. Drill the screws (not supplied) into the wall carefully.
3. Gently hand the Soundbar onto the screws in the all.
USING THE REMOTE CONTROL
• Point the remote control at the REMOTE SENSOR located on the unit (see Front
Panel illustration for precise location).
• When there is a strong ambient light source, the performance of the infrared
REMOTE SENSOR may be degraded, causing unreliable operation.
• The recommended effective distance for remote operation is about 16 feet (5
meters).
TO CHANGE REMOTE BATTERIES
1. Open the battery door. 2. Insert two AAA batteries.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
When the batteries become weak, the operating distance of the remote control is
greatly reduced and you will need to replace them.
Notes:
• Iftheremotecontrolisnotgoingtobeusedforalongtime,removethebatteriesto
avoid corrosion damage caused by battery leakage.
• Donotmixoldandnewbatteries.DonotmixALKALINE,standard(CARBON-ZINC)
orrechargeable(NICKEL-CADMIUM)batteries.
• Alwaysremovebatteriesassoonastheybecomeweak.
• Weakbatteriescanleakandseverelydamagetheremotecontrol.
• WARNING:Donotdisposeofbatteriesinare.batteriesmayexplodeorleak.
CAUTION:Dangerofexplosionifbatteryisincorrectlyreplaced.Replaceonlywiththe
same or equivalent type.
