GET
CONNECTED
IN 30 SECONDS
1.1 PREPARE YOUR JAWBONE
Press and hold the TALK BUTTON
while switching ON your Jawbone.
A flashing R E D + W HIT E LED indicates
that Jawbone is ready to connect
(pairing mode).

1.2 PREPARE YOUR PHONE
Turn on the Bluetooth® settings.
ON AN IPHONE®
Go to SETTINGS
and turn on BLUETOOTH®.
ON A BLACKBERRY®
mANAGE CONNECTIONS icon
or CONNECTIONS icon.
OTHER CELL PHONES
Go to JAWBONE.COm/PAIRING
or review the instruction manual
that came with your phone.
1.3 mAKE THE CONNECTION
Go to your phone’s Bluetooth® settings.
SEARCH fOR DEvICES
When Jawbone ICON appears,
select it.
If ASKED fOR A PASSCODE
Enter “0000”
This is a one-time event you should
not have to repeat, unless you are
connecting your Jawbone headset
to a new phone.

2.1 fIND YOUR fIT
Mix and match and select the most
comfortable and secure fit option.
Jawbone can be worn WITH
or WITHOUT an Earloop.
2.2 DROP, TWIST & POINT
For the most secure fit, place your
Jawbone in your ear vertically point-
ing down. Then twist it upwards so it
points directly at your mouth.
2.4 ENSURE BEST QUALITY
Jawbone works regardless of position,
but you will get the best performance
if the Voice Activity Sensor physically
touches your cheek.

3.1 TAKE A CALL
Press the TALK BUTTON on your
Jawbone to answer. When you are
finished talking, press the TAL K
BUTTON to hang up.
3.2 mAKE A CALL
Use your phone to dial as usual. Listen
and talk through your Jawbone. To
hang up, just press the TALK BUTTON.

4.1 GET JUICED
Your Jawbone is partly charged and
ready for use right out of the box.
WHEN BATTERY LOW
The LED indicator flashes RED.
fOR A fULL CHARGE
Plug it in.
NOTE It takes 40 minutes to get
your Jawbone 80% charged. A full
charge takes 90 minutes.
WHEN fULLY CHARGED
The LED indicator turns WHITE.
