Listening to sample songs
1.Power On
Press SCROLL KEY for some seconds.
Then, power is switched on and ‘LOGO
(User Name)’ is displayed on the LCD.
- Turn up SCROLL KEY for next music, down
SCROLL KEY for prior music.
- Press HOLD button. Then, HOLD ON is displayed
and power is not switched on.
* Refer to page 20 for changing Power On Logo(User
Name).
2.Listening to sample Songs
Press SCROLL KEY, and you can listen to
the stored sample songs.

3.Volume control
Turn JOG KEY to left side, then volume is
increased and turn JOG KEY to right side,
then volume is decreased.
4.Stop / Power-off
Press SCROLL KEY, and your player stops
playing. Press SCROLL KEY for two or more
seconds while the player does not play. Then,
the power is switched off.
-You can control volume in the rage of
00~30.
-If you do not press any buttons for one or
more minutes while the player does not
play, the power is automatically switched
off.

At first, download program should be installed into your PC in order to download MP3 files from PC to MP3 Player.
1) Insert the CD into CD-Rom drive, then Windows shown below are displayed when installation is initiated.
2) Press “Next”-”Next” button in the order.

side and select files (double selection possible) of Finder window in the left side and then press button.

After selecting a file, you can change a sequence of files by pressing buttons.
To delete a file, select the file and click on the button.

At this time press Set button after selecting MPEG
and BITRATE to be recorded, then set up is finished.
The sound becomes better as numbers of BITRATE
increase, but capacity of file becomes larger.
* This product is set up as 128 Kbps BITRATE in MPEG1 for delivery.
It is a function to decide the tone quality stored in MP3 Player at the time of Recording. Its installation
method is to select 'MPEG SET' after clicking [Option] in the upper menu of download program, then set
up window is appeared.

download program.
When folder/file rename window is shown, click OK button or Enter after rename, then the
name is changed.

Creating the User Name into MP3 Player
Click User Name at download program, then window is shown as the picture.
Enter a name in vacant window of Player Name and press input, then name entering is finished.
The entering is possible up to max 14 letters. ( more letters than 14 disregarded)

TTS(Text To Speech) function
What is TTS (Text to Speech)?
You can convert a text file from an internet site or
general text into a MP3 file and can store the file
to the player for language study purpose.

=If you want to change to ‘EXPLORER’ mode, press ‘EXPLORER’ button.
Press 'TTS' button at download program, then it is changed to TTS mode and TEXT edit window is
shown.
Press button, then English sentence is playback.
Press download button, then it is transformed into MP3 File and you can listen in MP3 mode.

Record Setting Function

This function is available for listening between start point and end point that you want to
repeat.
Press REC button at the points of start and end that you want to repeat. Then, the selected
section is repeated to play. To release the selected section, press the REC button again.

When reserve space of memory is not sufficient at the time of VOICE and Encoding recording, you must
record after securing space by deleting files stored in memory.
- It is possible to delete MP3 and TTS files also.
1) To delete File or Folder after selecting, press REC( ) button for a long time in stopped status.
2) When a message of DEL(MODE)/ES(REC) is shown on screen, press MODE button.
3) The message “DELETED” will be displayed on the screen after deleted.

3.Leave alone the USB cable connected to the USB
port of PC, and pull out the USB cable from the MP3
Player. Then, reboot the PC.
4. Connect the cable to the MP3 player after rebooting,
and the USB driver is automatically detected (Win98/
ME). As for WIn2000 or XP, you have to install the
USB driver manual - refer to “Installations manual” on
the page No. 36~38.

Installation of USB driver by Manual(Win2000/XP)
1. When you connect cable after installing download program, a window of new hardware founded in Windows Menu
Bar is appeared.
2. Press X in the message of new hardware founded, then a window for new hardware checking wizard is appeared.
3. Click on [Next].
4. Select “Include the following location in search” and click on [Find]. Designate the folder that
“AMAC Install CD” or “amac.inf” file exists, and then click on [Open] and [Next] in sequence.
5. Select amac.inf in the list and click on [Next].
6. An error message can occur and you can click on [Continue] button during installation, but it
does not influence the OS.
7. When the installation is finished, then a window of new hardware checking wizard completion is appeared. Press
[FINISHED], then all the installation is finished.
