 Quick Installation Guide AmbiCom 802.11g Wireless PCI Express Mini Card Model: WL54-PCIe     Before You Start  Install AmbiCom WL54-PCIe driver before using the product.    Installing AmbiCom WL54-PCIe Driver  Insert the Setup CD and select the desire installation option.  Follow the driver installation wizard to complete the process. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state.  RMA number and Proof of Purchase are required for all warranty service.  USA/Canada During the warranty period, AmbiCom, Inc. will, at its option, either repair or replace defective products with similar parts and products. Should the product be identified as defective, the end user is responsible for returning the product to the place of purchase1 / manufacturer2 and the cost of shipping and handling. AmbiCom, Inc. specifically disclaims the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.  AmbiCom, Inc. also specifically disclaims any responsibility for any incidental or consequential damages that its products may cause. A buyer’s recourse shall be strictly limited to those contained in this warranty. Some states do not allow these limitations on the length of an implied warranty, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. However, any implied warranty or merchantability of fitness for a particular purpose is for a period of 1 year on this written warranty. However, the OEM integrator is still responsible for testing their end-product for any additional compliance requirements required with this module installed (for example, digital device emissions, PC peripheral requirements, etc.).

In these circumstances, the OEM integrator will be responsible for re-evaluating the end product (including the transmitter) and obtaining a separate FCC authorization.    End Product Labeling:  This transmitter module is authorized only for use in device where the antenna may be installed such that 20 cm may be maintained between the antenna and users. The final end product must be labeled in a visible area with the following: “Contains TX FCC ID:P5T-WL54PCIE"   Manual Information That Must be Included The users manual for OEM integrators must include the following information in a prominent location “ IMPORTANT NOTE:  To comply with FCC RF exposure compliance requirements, the antenna used for this transmitter must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least 20 cm from all persons and must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.  Industry Canada Statement Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause interference and (2) this device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device.  To prevent radio interference to the licensed service, this device is intended to be operated indoors and away from windows to provide maximum shielding. Equipment (or its transmit antenna) that is installed outdoors is subject to licensing.
