Indoor Pendant Housing

IP SpeedDome Ultra 8 is a new IP edge device that includes the
innovative features of the SpeedDome Ultra 8 Programmable
Dome series.
IP SpeedDome Ultra 8 is compatible with either Intellex IP or
VideoEdge NVR systems. This creates an integrated environment
that allows you to access and control video remotely over a
network, whether your surveillance system is small or large.
IP SpeedDome Ultra 8 includes an integrated encoder that
utilizes American Dynamics ACC technology. ACC is a highly
efficient video compression format developed to address the
specific demands of the security industry for low bandwidth
and hard drive consumption. It compresses data up to nine
times more efficiently than comparable MPEG-4 and MJPEG
compression technologies. Video streams from IP SpeedDome
Ultra 8 can be viewed via a Microsoft® Internet Explorer ®
browser, Intellex IP system, Network Client, Browser Client or
VideoEdge NVR solution.

IP SpeedDome Ultra 8 offers network bandwidth management to
monitor the single IP stream and limit the amount of compressed
data to a user-controlled threshold. Sophisticated features like
watchdog system monitoring with auto reset and video loss
detection further enhance the system’s performance.
An intuitive control interface lets you adjust images per
second and resolution based upon specific viewing/recording
requirements. In addition, you can easily access presets,
patterns, and other programmable features.
Three versatile housing options are available: indoor drop ceiling,
indoor pendant, and outdoor pendant. SpeedDome Ultra 8
camera assembly and mounting accessories can be ordered
separately depending upon your application requirements. An
IP SpeedDome Ultra housing can also be ordered separately
to upgrade an existing analog-based SpeedDome Ultra 8
installation.
IP SpeedDome Ultra 8 is fully compliant with applicable safety
and regulatory requirements for North American, European
Union, Australian, and New Zealand markets.
