Please read these safety instructions carefully.
All precautions and warnings on the equipment should be carefully noted.
Please disconnect the computer from the AC outlet before cleaning.
Never pour any liquids into any openings or directly onto the computer unit. This
could result in fire or electrical shock.
Do not use in around water or other liquids.
Ensure the voltage range of the power outlet is between 100V and 240V before
connecting the computer unit. Exceeding the maximum rated voltage may cause
damage to the AC adapter or to the computer. This could result in fire or

storage temperatures below 4°C (39°F) or above 35°C (95°F) may damage the
unit.

This manual will help you get the most from your itablet. If you are a less
experienced user, please read through the manual carefully before starting.
First Steps
Let your itablet acclimatise itself
Do not power up your system immediately if it has been
exposed to hot or cold conditions. Instead, allow the system to adjust gradually
to room temperature over a three to four hour period.
Where to use your itablet
Your itablet will run well under most conditions but avoid extreme temperatures and
humidity levels

Allow sufficient air circulation around the computer when you are working indoors to
prevent overheating

Do not block the ventilation opening or place your itablet in direct sunlight
There are some things you can tolerate that your itablet can’t – things like static
electricity, dust, water, steam and oil.

Introducing Your itablet
Your itablet features the latest advances in portable computing technology
with a modular design that provides maximum expandability without
compromising portability.
Never try to disassemble or back engineer your
itablet as we will not be responsible for any damage caused if you do so
and this action would void your warranty
Unpacking your itablet
Your itablet comes securely packaged in a shipping carton. Please contact
your dealer if you find that anything is missing or damaged after examining
the contents.
Please do not throw the packaging materials away. You may need them later
if you have to ship the computer.
Some of the features mentioned in this manual might
not be included on your itablet or may vary slightly.
Getting To Know Your itablet
Front View
1.CMOS Camera
This is the built-in camera which can be used for video conferencing applications or
just taking pictures.
2. LED Indicator

• Lights up when your itablet is turned on.
2. Wifi Indicator
• Lights up when the wifi device is turned on.
3. Battery Indicator
Indicates current battery status
• Orange: Charging
• Green: Full battery
• Red: Low battery

Press to turn on your itablet
2.USB Ports
The Universal Serial Bus (USB2.0-compliant) ports allow you to connect a wide
variety of devices to your itablet at rates of up to 480 Mbps. These ports conform to
the latest USB2.0 plug-and-play standards
3.Microphone Jack
This 3.5mm socket is where you connect a microphone
4.Stereo Headphone
The stereo headphone jack (3.5-mm diameter) is where you connect the
headphones or external speakers.
5.External HDMI Port
The HDMI analog port is for connecting an external monitor or projector
6.DC IN Connector
Plug the AC adapter into this connector.

This is where you can nsert a sim card to use the 3G function.

Setting Up Your itablet

Remove your itablet from its package.
Insert the battery pack into your itablet so it can start charging.
Connect your itablet to an external power source and fully charge battery.
Press the power on button.
Connecting Your itablet To An External Power Source

Plug the AC adapter cable into the AC power connector on the computer.
Plug one end of the power cord into an electrical outlet and the other end into the
AC adapter.
To prevent damage to your itablet, please do not use
inferior extension cables. An AC adapter comes with your itablet. Never use a
different kind of adapter to power the computer or other electrical devices.
Whenever possible, keep the AC adapter plugged into the computer and an
electrical outlet to recharge the battery.
Don’t try to turn off your itablet while the hard disk is
in use as it may result in the loss or destruction of your data.

Using the OnScreen Keypad
The Onscreen Keypad and Writing Pad application is only
supported if your operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium or above.
Looking at the windows display, the onscreen keypad icon is located on the left side
of the screen. Drag the icon out and double click to display the keypad.
Writing pad
Use this pad to write text that is converted into typed text. Write on the lines in the
writing pad as if you were writing on a lined sheet of paper.

Onscreen Keyboard
The OnScreen Keyboard application is supported if your
operating system is Windows 7 or above.
Use the onscreen keyboard in the same way that you would use a standard
keyboard.
System Recovery
When you start using your itablet, we suggest that you make a rescue disk to back
up your itablet. This will enable you to restore your itablet should a problem occur.
If your Operating system becomes corrupted follow this guide to perform a system
recovery. First turn on the power. The BIOS performs the POST (Power-On-SelfTest)

When this display appears on your screen, press F11 when prompted to execute the
iTablet Recovery procedure.
Windows 7 will then clear up all the files on your C disk and return to the original
operating system.
Warning this will delete any user data, please backup if possible before use.

The recovery process is now underway.
Alternatively, you can reinstall your Windows operating system. From Control Panel,
select the “Advanced Recovery Methods” to reinstall Windows.

Select “Reinstall Windows”
Select “Restart” to restart your itablet and start the installation process.

3G/3.5G Module U6300 Card (Optional)
3G/3.5G will be enabled if this card is
installed.
3G/3.5G will be disabled if this card is
not installed.
You should insert the 3G SIM card before powering up your
itablet otherwise it will not detect the card if you try to run the 3G application. It
will also not work if you insert the SIM card when your itablet is still powering up

This chapter describes how to locate and solve problems that you may experience
when using your itablet.
General Hardware Problems / Possible Causes and
Solutions
Here are a few common hardware problems and suggested solutions:
A freeze on the system during program operation
¾
Should an error occur when a program is being used, press the , , and
 keys simultaneously.
¾
In the event of an error with the Windows OS, reboot your itablet.
System Not Resuming Operation
If your itablet will not resume normal operation, check the following possible causes:
¾ The battery may be defective or discharged to a critically low level. To correct this
problem, connect the AC adapter to the nearest power supply.
The LCD screen is too dark or too bright
Adjust the LCD brightness by pressing the A-Menu button then click on Brightness
Up or Brightness Down.
The system can not shutdown properly
Press and hold the power button for 4~6 seconds until your itablet shuts down
manually.

What are the major steps to follow when your itablet does not turn on
properly after a shutdown
If your itablet turns on after connecting the AC adapter, this indicates that the
battery needs recharging.
How to extend battery life
¾
Adjust the display brightness to minimum level.
¾
Adjust the volume to minimum level.
The wireless LAN connection disconnects after 2~3 minutes and does not
reconnect.
This may be caused by channel interference. Try changing the access point channel
and reconnect.
The computer is unable to connect to the Internet.
Check that your account with your Internet service provider (ISP) is properly
configured. Ask your ISP for further assistance.
The Wireless LAN is connected, but I can not connect to it.
¾
Check the device driver is properly installed. If the driver is not properly installed,
you will find a yellow exclamation mark on the network icon by clicking Start >
Control Panel > System > Device Manager > Network Adapters. If there is a yellow
exclamation mark, please reinstall the device driver with the system software media.
The signal strength is excellent but you cannot connect to the network.
Check the TCP/IP properties are configured properly. When you connect to an
access point, click the Wireless Network Connection icon on the taskbar and select
the Support tab.

If you still have a problem after reading the preceding section, your next step is to
contact your dealer who will be able to determine if the itablet needs to be returned
to . Before you call your dealer, please have the following information available:
