INSTALLING THE WIRELESS
CONTROLLER‘S BATTERY
Removal ol the battery cover requires a ‘phiIlips
head" screwdriver. See Figure 1. Alter removing
this screw, slide the cover downward to remove.
Place the 9V battery in position so that the I +)
and i - ) are in the proper alignment as marked
inside the battery cover. See Figure 2. Replace
screw to battery cover.
Cautions:
- Use onlyiresh batteries oithe required size and
type
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Never mix alkaline batteries With other types oi
batteries.
- Never leave dead or week batteries in the
transmitter.
- If you do not plan to use the Ftace Set tor
several days, remove the batteries.
- Dispose ol batteries promptly and properly: do
not bury or burn them.

OPERATION
Cautlons:
II the Race Cars move slowly, and you have to
install lresh batteries. Check the wheel mecha~
nisms and remove any lint, thread, hair, or dust
you ltnd,
Follow These Steps To Operate Race Set:
LAttach power pack cord to receiver,
2.Plug in the adaptor to a 120V outlet.
3,5queeze the trigger gently to start racing.
Help Hlnts:
These hints can help you get the most enioyment
lrcrn your Race Set.
- lithe Cars move slowly or not at all, replace the
transmitter batteries.
~ It someone uses a CB nearby, it might interiere
with control at the Race Set, it this happens.

- Yeucannot operateyour Ftace Set near devices
with transmitter which use the same Frequency.
~ Metal rails must be Kept clean. Wipe rails
completely beiore using,
- ii the cars are not moving smoothly. or stop
during operation, there may be lnterlerence by
home appliances or a portable telephone.
Please take the transmitter, and move to
another position.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
The lollowing suggestions will help you care tor
your Race Set so you can enjoy it longer.
- Do not expose the components (transmitter and
receiver) to temperature extremes.
MODIFYING OR TAMPERING WITH THE
RECEIVER OR THE TRANSMITTER
COMPONENTS CAN CAUSE A MALFUNCTION
AND MIGHT iNVALIDATE THE WARRANTY
AND VOID YOUR FCC AUTHORIZATION TO
OPERATE THEM.
THE FCC WANTS YOU TO KNOW
Your Piece Set might cause TV or radio interier-
ence even when it is operating properly. To deter-
mine whether your Race Set is causing the inter-
ference. turn all your Piece Set. It the interierence
goes away, your Race Set is causing the interier-
once. Try to eliminate the intederence by:
- Moving your Race Set away from the TV or
radio.
