INSTALLING THE WIRELESS
CONTROLLER’S BATTERY
Removal ot the battery cover requires a 'phillips
head' screwdriver. See Figure 1. Atter removing
this screw, slide the cover downward to remove.
Place the 9V battery in position so that the ( a)
and ( - t are in the proper alignment as marked
inside the battery cover. See Figure 2, Replace
screwtobatterycover. . '
Cautions:
~ Use oniyiresh batteriesotthe required size and
type.
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
. Never mix alkaline batteries with other types of
batteries.
- Never leave dead or weak batterles In the
transmitter,
- Ifyou do not plan to use the Race Set tor
several days, remove the batteries.
- Dispose oi batteries promptly and properly: do
not bury or burn them.

OPERATION
Cautions:
it the Race Cars move slowly, and you have to
install trash batteries. Check the wheel mecha-
nisms and remove any lint, thread, hair, or dust
you tind,
Follow These Steps To Operate Hace Set:
1.Attach power pack cord to receivert
2.Plug In the adaptorto a tZOV outlet.
a,Squeeze the trigger gently to start racing.
Help Hints:
These hints can help you get the most enioyment
lrom your Hece Set.

transmitter batteries.

move the Set away trom the CE.
- You cannot operateyour Race Set neardevices

Metal rails must be kept clean. Wipe rails
completely betore using.

during operation, there may be lnterierenca by
home appliances or a portable telephone.
Please take the transmitter, and move to
another position.

AND VOID YOUR FCC AUTHORIZATION TO
OPERATE THEM.

Your Race Set might cause TV or radio interter-
once even when It Is operating properly. To deter
mine whether your Race Set is causing the inter-
terence. turn ottyour Race Set. It the interterence
goes away, your Race Set is causing the interior-
ence. Try to eliminate the lnterterence by:
0 Moving your Race Set away from the TV or
radio.
