1. General notes:
1. If a message is received and the user ignores it, the “mail box” icon will be
displayed on the LCD and LPU (If not in vibrate mode) will beep shortly every 30
seconds (3*(on=100msec, off =300msec)).
2. The LPU should check AMS sanity and if not received activate alarm.
3. The sanity message sent from the AMS will include system time and next sanity
time.
4. Any key pressed on the LPU will stop the alarm.
5. The LPU will support “find lost LPU” command from the AMS (It will beep, even if in
vibrate mode, upon reception of this message).
6. When going back to “normal display” and messages are pending the LPU will
display a message prompt as described in screen 5.
7. Each incoming message will get its own serial number so that the last received
message will
get the first number and the serial numbers of the previous
messages will be shifted to the left, i.e. 1->2, 2->3…9->10 & 10th (last) message will
be automatically deleted).
8. Each keystroke will generate the short buzz (200msec).

The LPU Unit Model 800 has been tested and found to comply with the limits of a Class B digital device,
pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against
