wire the remaining relay contacts to pertonn the selected lunction oi channel at
Black Wire: CHASSlS GROUND
Connect this wi to a solid. metal pan oi the vehic'e‘s chassis. Do not oor-‘use this wire with the thin black
antenna wire that exits the control module Independently.
Orange Wire : 300 mA GROUND OUTPUT WHEN ARMED - N. C. STARTER DISABE
This wire is provided to control the starter cut reiay. Connect the orange wire to terminal 85 oi the relay.
Connect relay terminal 8510 an Ignition wire in the vehiclethal is live when the key is inthe on and crank
positions. undo?! when the key Is in the oil posflion. (This Is where the yellow wire mm the alarm should
Deconnecled )_.
Cut the low current starter solenoid wire in the vehicle, and connect one side d“ the out wire to relay
tennlna! 87A, Connectthe other side of the cutwire to relay terminal 30.
Note : This Is a normally closed starter cut arrangement, and when power is removed trom the
securttysyslem, the starterdlsable lecture will not operate, allowing the vehicle to sun. Audiovox
dog‘s [not recommend using the Orange wire to Interrupt anything but the stoning c‘rouit ol the

Brown Wire: - DOOR TRIGGER
II the vehicle's courtesy light switches have a ( - ) ground output when the door is opened ( GM and most
Imports ), you must connect this wire to the negative outnullrom one 0! the door switches.
WARNING : Do not use the brown wire it the vehicle has + 12 volt output type door switches.
( see Purple Wire).
Light Green Wire : (- ) IY‘iISTAN.r TRIGGER ZONE 1
This is an instant on ground trigger wire. This wire ( zone ) should be reserved I0! connection to optional
ground output trigger devices such as motion and r or shock imoac'. sensors.
DarkGreen Wire :(-)1NSTANT TRIGGER ZONE 2
This is an instanton ground triggerwire. it must be connected to the previous'yinstalled hood and trunk pin
switches.
2 Pin Blue Connector: VALET swrrcfl
Route the grey and black wires in the 2 pin connedor born the va'et switch to the control module, and plug
it into the mating b’ue oonnecto' on the side of the modu'et

Home the red and blue wiresln the 2 pinwh'rte oonnector‘romthe LED. to thecontro' module, and plug
it into the mating white connector on the side if. the module.
4 Pin White Connector: SHOCK SENSOR
Route the red. b‘ack, bfue. and green wires in the L oin white connector hum the shock sensor to the
control module, and plug oneend into the shock sensrr, and the other end into the mating white connector
on the side at the module.

Red 5: Green 2 Pin White Connector : DOOR LOCK OUTPUTS
These wires will provide either a pulsed ground output to the factory door took control relay, or a pulsed +
12 volt output to the tactory door lock control relay. in either case. the maximum current draw through
these outputs must not exceed 300 mA.
a wig Grggnd Sm‘tghed Door Locks
In this application. the red wire provides a ground pulse during arming. orthe pulsed ground lock output.
Connect the red wire to the wire that provides a low current ground signal lrorn the lactory door lock switch
to the tactory door lock control relay.
The green wire provides a ground pulse during disarming. nrthe pulsed ground unlock output. Connect
the reen wire to the wire that provides a low current ground signal from the factory door unlock switch to
the actory door lock control relay.
3 Wire Positive §witgngd 12091: Lock;
In this application. the red wire provides a positive pulse during disarming. or the pulsed + 12 volt unlock
output. Connect the red wire to the wire that provides a low current positive signal lrcm the factory door
unlock switch to the factory door lock control relay.
The green wire provides a positive pulse during arming. or the pulsed + 12 volt lock output. Connect the

Antenna Wire : Be sure to extend the thin bladt antenna wire to it's lull length, and cable tie into place
where it cannot be damaged. Avoid wrapping this wire around major. high current wire looms. ,
Adjusting the Shock Sensor : The senstttvity oi the pro - detect circuit is automatically set 30% less
sensitive than the lull trigger circuit.
Using a small screwdriver. gently turn the adjustment screw Iully counterclockwise. ( DO NOT overturn
this screw. Maximum rotation tor this adjustment is 270“ ), Close the hood and trunk lids. and arm the
alarm. Wait 6 seconds torthe accessories trigger zone to stabilize. then itrmly strike the rear bumper with
the side or a closed fist considering the amount 0! Iorce required to break a window.
CAUTION : Never periorm this test on the vehicle's glass, as you may break the window.
Turn the adjustment screw clockwise (increasing sensitivity) about ll turn and re » test. Repeat this
procedure until the alarm sounds Ultimately. one lirm strike to the rear bumper will cause the alarm to emit
pre ~ detect warning tones. .
WARNING ! Setting the sensitivity too high can cause ialse alarms due to noise Vibrations lrorn passing
trucks and heavy equipment. To decrease sensitivity, turn the adjustment screw counter
clockwise.
Wire Dressing : Always wrap the alarm wires in convoluted tubing. or with a spiral wrap ol electrical tape
Secure these looms along the routing using cable ties. Thls will ensure that the alarm wires are not
damaged by tailing onto hot or sharp movmg surfaces in the vehicle.
Operation : Take a Iew moments to check oil the appropriate option boxes in the owner's manual. and to
fully explain the operation oi the system to your customer.
