TX Indicator Call Battery Low Power Save Vex Key Lock

FRS Channel Scan Roger & Key tone On/Off Volular CTCSS Channel
Function Button
It is to select function. Function selection is started after press this button and finished afler trip for one round or wait a
5 second without key action.
Power button
Turn the radio on by the “POWER" button. The beep sound will be generated afier about 35eccnd and the LCD
segmenm include whole icons will come on , indicating the radio has passed a self—check.
Ifyou want to tum-offthe radio, press & hold the “POWER“ button for about 2 second.
Volume level control
Ifyou want to control the receiving audio level, press “A ( Up )" or “v ( Down)” button.
Levels will indicate as bar numbers on the right side of LCD.
Press & Hold “A ( Up )” or “v ( Down T”, levels will be varied automatically.
Level control operation is always priority whenever press “A” or “v” button.
Channel selection
Press “Function” button repeatedly until a two Large segments blink.
Press “A” or “v” button to select the desired channel.
If you want to fix the selected channel, press “Function" button again . And channel selection will be terminated .

Press “Function” button repeatedly until “Scan" icon blinks.
Press “A” or “v” button until icon is fixed. Channel scanning will be done after function operation is terminated or wait
a 5 second. If there is any carrier signal or “PTT” button is pressed, scanning will be stopped
lfre-scanning is required, press “A" button again. Scanning will be continued until there is any carrier signal or “PTT”
button is pressed.
If you want to terminate channel scanning, press “Function” button and repeat the above until icon is disappeared.
key tone Selection
Press “Function” button repeatedly until “Tone” icon blinks.
Press “A" or “v” button until icon is fixed. This function will be started to operate afier function operation is finished.
If then, key tone will be rung whenever any buttons are pressed except Monitor & PTT.
If you don’t want key tone, press function button and repeat the above until icon will be disappeared. After function
operation is finished, key tone will not be rung.
CTCSS Selection
Press “Function" button repeatedly until CTCSS channel icon blinks.
Press “A” or “v” button to select the desired channel.
If you want to fix the selected channel, press “Function” button again.
If you want to cancel this function, press “Function” button repeatedly until CTCSS channel icon blinks.
press “A” or “v” button to select a “00“ and press ‘Function” button again.
VOX Selection
Press “Function” button repeatedly until “VOX" icon blinks.
Press “A” or “v” button until “VOX” icon is fixed. This function will be started to operate afler function operation is
finished,
If you want to cancel this function, press function button and repeat the above until icon is disappeared. Afier function
operation is finished, vox operation will be terminated.
Key Lock
This function provides the wrong 4 operation. Under locking, only “function” & PTT operations are permitted.
Press the “Function” button repeatedly until “lock “ icon blinks. Press “A“ or “v” button until icon is fixed. This
function will be started to operate after function operation is finished.
If you want to release Key lock, repeat the above and remove icon.
Power Save
It is always fixed whenever power saving is done,
TX indicator
IfPTT button is pressed, “TX” icon will be appeared while transmitting.
Call indicator ION
IfCall button is pressed, “Call" icon will be appeared while transmitting. figgigygéAiglgi’gRAT

If there is any carrier signal during stand-by, “Busy” icon will be appeared. EXHIBIT #
Low battery alert
If the battery voltage is low, “Battery low“ icon will he appeared with beep sound for 1 minute and the radio will
eventually turn off with three low pitch beat sound.
Monitor operation
You can monitor a channel by the button “M “.
By pressing the button”M” over 2 second, the monitoring will be continued.
While you monitors channels , this function will be terminated by pushing the “M” button one more.
