Getting Started
Setting up the receiver
1. Place the receiver at desired location using the sticky gel pad.
2. Plug the car charger into your cigarette lighter and power the receiver using the USB connector.
3. Connect the receiver to your car stereo AUX port using the 3.5 mm connector.
Power on/off
Connect the receiver power to the cigarette lighter charger. The unit automatically power on
when you start your vehicle engine and automatically power off when you turn off your vehicle.
You can manually power off the receiver by disconnect the USB from the charger.
Note:
When the receiver is turned on, you can manually turn off the receiver by pressing and holding the
multi-function for 5 seconds. If you want to restart the receiver, press and hold the multi-function for
3 seconds.
Pairing to new device
1. When you start your vehicle, the receiver will automatically turn on
2. If you have not paired the receiver with any device, it will automatically go into pairing mode
with white White LED flashing
3. Bring your device into pairing mode and search for connection
4. “Aukey BR-C8” should appear in the search result
5. Tap on the name to connect
6. Once pairing is successful, the white LED will stay on
Note:
1. If a code or pin is required for pairing, please enter “0000”.
2. The receiver will stay in pairing mode for 10 minutes at most if no pairing device is found.
Afterwards, it will power off automatically. If you want to restart the receiver, press and hold the
multi-function for 3 minutes.
3. When the receiver is successfully connected with one device, simultaneously press and hold the
<< and >> button for 2 seconds, the receiver will switch to pairing mode.
Pairing with connected devices
If you have successfully paired the receiver with your device previously, simply bring your device
into pairing mode. The receiver will pair to your device by itself.

FAQ
Q: The receiver does not turn on after starting my car.
● Make sure the USB cable is plugged into the car charger
● Make sure the car charger is connected to cigarette lighter
Q: I am having trouble pairing and connecting to my device
● Make sure your device supports A2DP
● Check if the receiver is in pairing mode (white LED flashing)
● Take your device closer to the receiver and make sure your device is into paring mode.
● If your device is asking for a “PIN” or “Code”, please enter “0000”
Q: I cannot hear any music from my sound system.
● Make sure the receiver is connected well with your car audio system via AUX input
● Check your sound system settings to ensure that you have selected “AUX” or “Line-in” setting
● Volume is at an audible level on both your audio device and on your sound system
● Please check your audio device is playing music through connection
Q: The music sometimes cuts off while playing.
● Make sure your phone/music player is in direct line of sight from the receiver.
Q: There is a delay in the music.
● A variable delay exists between when the music is played on your device and when you hear
the sound from speakers. This is completely normal.
Q: Can I power the receiver using another charger/power source?
● We recommend using the car charger inside the package to power the receiver. However, you
can still use another charger / USB power source to power the receiver.
Care and Maintenance
● For driving safety, we recommend place the receiver at a convenient spot where you can reach
easily with your arm.
● Avoid placing the receiver in high temperature areas
● Do not use chemicals or detergents to clean the product
Warranty
We warrant this device for 24 MONTHS from date of the original purchase. If the device fails due to
a manufacturing defect, please contact Aukey support by emailing to support@aukey.com with
your purchase order ID and details of the problem. If you have purchased the product from a seller
other than Aukey, please contact your seller for warranty cover.

You can't adjust the volume from the receiver when streaming music and answering a call. Please
adjust the volume from your mobile phone or car audio system directly.
