Use as a transmitter (TX mode)1) Connect audio source (TV, DVD etc.) to Oasis "TX Input" port with the audio cables provided (optical or AUX/RCA).2) Connect Oasis to a power source (TV, PC USB socket or power adapter) with a USB cable.3) Slide TX/RX switch to the "TX" position.4) Slide Power/Mode switch to the "Bluetooth" position.5) Select the correct audio input mode (AUX/OPT) by short pressing the button (Very Important)6) Pairing - Pair Oasis with your Bluetooth-enabled headsets/speakers. • Set Oasis into pairing mode, TX LED flash GREEN / WHITE alternately fast. – First-time use: Oasis will auto enter pairing mode (with clear memory). – Afterward: press button for 3 seconds. • Set your headsets/speakers to pairing mode refer to its user manual. • Wait until connected (For quick pairing, better keep them within 1 meter when pairing)6. Use as a Receiver (RX mode)1) Connect your speaker to Oasis "RX Output" port with the audio cable provided (optical or AUX/RCA).2) Connect Oasis to a power source with USB cable and adapter.3) Slide TX/RX switch to the "RX" position.4) Slide Power/Mode switch to the "Bluetooth" position.5) Select the correct audio input mode (AUX/OPT) by short pressing the button (Very Important)6) Pairing - Pair Oasis with your Bluetooth-enabled phone/PC/tablet. • Set Oasis into pairing mode, RX LED flash GREEN / WHITE alternately fast. – First-time use: Oasis will auto enter pairing mode (with clear memory). – Afterward: press button for 3 seconds to enter. • Active Bluetooth on your phone or another device to find “Avantree Oasis” to connect. • Wait and connected (For quick pairing, better keep them within 1 meter when pairing).8. Pair and Connect two Devices SimultaneouslyIn TX mode1) Pair with the first device by following the previous instructions in the “Use as a Transmitter (TX mode)” section.2) Pair with the second device • Set second headphones/speaker to pairing mode. • Set Oasis to pairing mode again, press the button for 3s until the TX LED flashes GREEN and WHITE. • Wait until connected. Once Oasis connected to two devices, you will see LEDs A and B both illuminated.Notes: 1) For improved compatibility and sound quality, we suggest that you use Bluetooth devices with CSR chipset, e.g. Avantree Audition Pro, Plantronics backbeat pro, etc.2) When using dual-link, Oasis doesn’t support aptX low latency.In RX mode1) Pair with the first device by following the previous instructions in the “Use as a Receiver (RX mode)” section.2) Pair with the second device • Set Oasis to pairing mode again, press the button for 3s until the RX LED flashes GREEN and WHITE. • Active Bluetooth on the second device to find “Avantree Oasis” to connect. • Wait until connected. Once Oasis connected the two devices, you will see LEDs A and B both illuminated.Note: Only one device can play music at any time. You must stop the music on one device to play on the other.9. Restore Factory Default SettingsYou may need to reset Oasis if it is not working as expected. When Oasis is reset to factory default settings, all the paired device information will be cleared.1) Slide Power/Mode switch to the “Bluetooth position”. 2) Make sure Oasis is not connected to any Bluetooth devices – LEDs A and B should both be off.3) Press and hold the and buttons together until you hear voice prompt “pairing history cleared”. 2151617141211109745- 5 - To take advantage of the better performance of the APTX Low Latency Codec, the other side device must support the same codec. If the other side device only supports the normal AptX codec, or the SBC one, those codecs will be used instead. Troubleshooting1) I am having trouble pairing and connecting to my Bluetooth device. Please check the following: 1. Your wireless device supports the wireless profiles listed in the specifications. 2. Oasis and your device are next to each other or within 3 feet / 1 meter. 3. Make sure both Oasis and the wireless device are in pairing mode.2) After connecting and pairing with my wireless device, I cannot hear any music from my sound system. 1. Make sure you select the correct audio input mode (AUX/OPT) by short pressing the button. 2. Make sure to remove the protective head on optical cable. 3. In optical mode, make sure your TV audio is set to PCM/ LPCM format as Oasis does not support Dolby/ DTS format. 4. In optical mode, Oasis supports device with sampling rate of or under 48kHz. Bypass mode (Non-Bluetooth)Bypassing means using Oasis as a non-Bluetooth device which connects the TV and speaker via wires directly. This design enables you to switch between wired (Bypass mode) and wireless (Bluetooth mode) with just one switch without the need to disconnect any cables.1) Connect audio source (TV, DVD etc.) to Oasis “TX Input" port with the audio cables provided (optical or AUX/ RCA).2) Connect your speaker to Oasis "RX Output" port with your own audio cable (optical or AUX/RCA).3) Connect Oasis to a power source with USB cable and adapter.4) Slide the Power/Mode switch to the "Bypass" position. 5) Select the correct audio input/output mode (AUX/OPT) by short pressing the button.
