1OPERATION MANUAL OF TPMS SENSORM/N: QY1204AC1Thank you for choosing our TPMS replacement sensor. It is for replacing TPMS sensor thatis already damaged or run out of battery.PART ONE MOUNTING AND DISMOUNTING OF TRANSMITTER1. Mounting of Transmitter1.1 Identify TransmitterCheck whether the prepared sensor is the same with the image below. It is fixed anglesensor.Note: Only plastic or aluminum caps, aluminum valves and nickel plated valve cores can beused when replaced.1.2 Before the transmitter is installed, the rim aroundthe hole must be cleaned with a cloth.
21.3 Take off the nut ○5, insert the valve stem through therim hole from inside.1.4 Place nut ○5on the valve stem, and tighten with 5Nm (44 inch pounds) torque.1.5 Lock the rim on the tyre changer. (If the mountinghead of the tyre changer is positioned at 12 o’clock,then the valve should be at the 7 o’clock position.)Apply lubricant on both the tyre bead and rim. Mountthe lower tyre bead on the rim. Ensure that the tyrebead does not touch the electronic module duringmounting.1.6 Mount the upper tyre bead the same way. (If themounting head of the tyre changer is positioned at 12o’clock, then the valve should be at the 5 o’clockposition.) Inflate the tyre to nominal pressure.1.7 Apply soapsuds on the valve tip. If no leakage isfound, put on the valve cap○6. If unsuccessful, try again.1.8 Dynamically balance the wheel before it is placedback on the vehicle.
32. Dismounting of Transmitter2.1 Deflate the tyre and remove the wheel weightsfrom the rim. Push the tyre bead away from the rim.Make sure to always set the bead breaker at least 90degrees from the valve stem to avoid damaging theelectronic module.2.2 Firmly fix the wheel on the turntable clamps. (If themounting head of the tyre changer is positioned at 12o’clock, then the valves stem should be at the 11o’clock position.) Apply lubricant to both tyre bead andrim, and then remove the upper tyre bead.2.3 Use the same procedure to dismount the lowertyre bead. (If the mounting head of the tyre changer isat the 12 o’clock position, then the valves stem shouldalso be at the 12 o’clock position.)2.4 Final inspection: Visually inspect the rim, valve stem and electronic module to ensureno damage has occurred.PART TWO FCC’s Authentication AnnouncementsChanges or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliancecould void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio ortelevision reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the useris encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:–Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.–Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.–Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiveris connected.–Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.PART THREE WARRANTYThis warranty covers substantial manufacturer’s defects in workmanship and materials. Itdoes not cover any unit that is damaged beyond normal use, not properly installed, subjectto chemical contact, or other acts not sanctioned by the Owner’s Manual.All components are covered for one year following the date of purchase. If the warrantyperiod specified in local law exceeds the period provided by Baolong, the former willsupersede the latter.The warranty will be honored by any authorized Baolong dealer. The owner is required toprovide date of proof of purchase. The authorized dealer will determine if there is awarranty condition associated with materials and/or manufacturing workmanship. If awarranty condition exists, the component will be replaced free of charge and shippingprepaid. The owner is responsible for any labor and installation charges.The warranty does not include any further obligation whatsoever, including but not limited toactual installation of the replacement unit on the customer’s vehicle.All other Warranties, expressed or implied, are disclaimed. All collateral agreements, whichpurport to modify this limited warranty, are of no effect. The absolute limit of liability is thepurchase price of the unit.Shanghai Baolong Automotive Corporation is not liable for any direct, consequential,indirect or punitive damages of any kind.NOTE: Shanghai Baolong Automotive Corporation reserves the right to change the contents of thismanual at any time without notice.
