Purpose
This manual provides an officer with the information necessary to implement and use the HomeGuard
electronic monitoring device.
Scope
The User’s Manual presents a tutorial for use of the HomeGuard electronic monitoring device and a guide
in training clients to use the equipment in their homes. It provides all information required to:
• learn to use the HomeGuard device
• teach clients to use the HomeGuard device
• install the HomeGuard device on site
• set up testing schedules and monitoring requirements
• troubleshoot and use the HomeGuard device
Note: Throughout this manual, the name HomeGuard refers to the HomeGuard tracking device.
Audience
This manual is written for the attending officer who will train the client, set up the equipment and monitor
the client.

• Connect the equipment into an outlet/circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
