Getting started

1.1 Installing the SIM Cards and the Battery

An SIM card carries useful information, including your mobile phone number, PIN (Personal

Identification Number), PUK (PIN Unlocking Key), IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity),

network information, contacts data, and short messages data.

1.2 Charging the Battery

The lithium battery delivered with the mobile phone can be put into use immediately after being

unpacked. Your mobile phone can monitor and display the battery state.

 Normally the remaining energy of the battery is indicated by the battery level icon at the upper right

corner of the display screen.

 When the battery energy is insufficient, the mobile phone prompts "Battery low". If you have set an

alert tone, an alert tone will be given off when the battery level is too low.

 A charging animation appears when the battery is being charged. When the charging is complete, the

animation disappears.

 It is normal of the battery to become hot during the charging period.

 The battery icon does no longer flicker when the charging process ends.

 Use only the battery provided by the vendor. Otherwise, damages or even injuries could be caused

during the charging.

 Power off the mobile phone before removing the battery.

 The charging process lasts a longer time for a new battery or a battery not in use for a long time. If the

battery voltage is too low to enable the mobile phone to be powered on, charge the battery for a longer

time.

 During the charging, ensure the battery is placed in a room temperature environment or in an

environment close to room temperature.

Immediately stop using the battery if the battery produces odor, overheats, cracks, distorts or has other

damage, or if the electrolyte leaks.

 The battery wears out with use. A longer charging time is required as the battery is put into use for a

long time.

Warning:

(1) There may be the risk of explosion if the battery is replaced by the wrong type.

(2)Dispose of used batteries according to the guidelines.

(3)The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.

Provides charging temperature range -5 ℃ to 55 ℃, over this range, please do not use the charging

equipment. And be sure to use the charger provided by the supplier. Use of an unapproved charger may be

dangerous and breach of warranty of the equipment approval and terms.

1.3 Linking to the Network

After the SIM card and the mobile phone are successfully unlocked, the mobile phone automatically searches

for an available network.

3.1 Phonebook

In this menu you can Add, view, Copy, Delete and Speed dial telephone numbers. The mobile phone can

store up to 500 telephone numbers. You can also view the Owner number choose the Preferred storage

where the numbers will be saved in and check the Memory status of the phone.

3.2 Multimedia

FM Radio

You can use the application as a traditional FM radio with automatic tuning and saved channels. ▲ or ▼keys

to tune volume.

Video Player

Use this function to play video files.

Audio Player

Use this function to play audio files. In audio player interface, you can press ▲ or ▼keys to tune volume.

Sound Recorder

Use this function to record audio files. The phone supports WAV and AMR format.

Camera

Use this function to capture pictures.

Video Recorder

Use this function to record video files.

Image Viewer

Enter into the menu, browser pictures there.

3.3 Messages

Write message

Use this menu to create and send a message (SMS or MMS). The SMS/MMS function is dependent on

the network service and your network may or may not support the service. Please confirm in writing short

message has been properly set before the information centre number.

Inbox

Inbox deposit received all text messaging and MMS.

Outbox

In sending messages, select save and send when after the failure, and transmit information will be stored in

Templates

Information list that phrase for the selected edit, delete, template create new short message from template

operation.

Memory status

Information list that displays the amount of contacts that can be stored in the phones internal memory and

within the SIM card.

Voice mail

View, listen to, save or delete voice messages stored in the voice mail box.

Broadcast message

This network service allows you to receive the broadcast messages on various topics such as weather,

traffic, local district code, local hospitals, taxis or pharmacies in your area. For more information about

broadcast message topics, please contact your service provider.

3.5 Profiles

The mobile phone provides multiple user profiles，General, Meeting, Outdoor, Indoor, Headset.

When you insert an earpiece to the mobile phone, the mobile phone automatically enters the Headset mode.

There is no option for activating the Headset mode on the screen. For details on operation, refer to General.

If you set Headset > Customize > Answer mode to Auto, incoming calls will be automatically answered.

3.6 Organizer

To do list

This feature lists out all your tasks you have added. You can view, add, edit, delete, and delete all

Five alarm clocks are set but deactivated by default. For each alarm clock, the ringing date and the ringing

Stopwatch

Once you enter this menu, there is a monthly-view calendar for you to keep track of important appointments,

etc.

World clock

Access this menu to view time of main cities in various time zones.

Calculator

This calculator provides limited precision and is only applicable to simple arithmetic calculation.

Here you can use the value-added services provided by your network operator.

3.7 Settings

Time and date

Set the date format, the time format, and detail time of the location.

Display settings

Users can access this item to set wallpaper, screen saver, power on/off display, etc.

Phone Settings

 Select Language: Select the display language for the mobile phone.

 Schedule power on/off: Set the time when the mobile phone will be automatically powered on or off.

 Greeting text: Sets a greeting message when the phone is turned on.

 Home city: Sets the time of the current city on the mobile phone.

 Auto keypad lock: On/Off.

 Input method settings: Select one of the input methods as the prior. So while you write SMS, it will

automatically display the selected input method by default.

Call Settings

 Dual-SIM: Dual-SIM refers to two SIM card slots, and the two cards can standby at the same time or set

one of them to display on the idle screen.

 Caller ID: Allows you to Send or Hide your phone number when you call someone.

 Call waiting: Network dependent.

 Call divert: this network function enables you to forward incoming calls to another number you have

previously specified.

 Call barring: The call barring function enables you to bar calls as needed. When setting this function,

you need to use a network barring code, which can be obtained from the network operator.

 Line switching: Switch to Line 1 or Line 2. By default, Line 1 is used.

Note: If you choose Line 2, dialing may fail. This depends on the implementation of the network

operator.

 Others: Through this function, you can set IP shortcut key, 50 seconds voice tone, connect prompt,

answer/reject mode and auto redial status..

Network settings

You can search the network again. Select your favorite network and choose to register the network

automatically or manually.

Network status

View the current networks on the SIM cards inserted on the phone.

Security Settings

This function provides you with related settings about safety use

1. PIN: The PIN (Personal identification number, 4 to 8 digits) code prevents your SIM card from being

used by unauthorized people. In general, the PIN is supplied with SIM card by the network operator. If

PIN check is enabled, you need to input the PIN each time when you power on your mobile phone. The

SIM card will be locked if you input wrong PIN code for three times

2. PIN2: The PIN2 code (4 to 8 digits), supplied with SIM card, is required to access some functions such

as “call costs setup” and “fixed dialing setup”. Please contact the network operator to verify whether

your SIM card supports these functions. If you input wrong PIN2 for three times, the PIN2 will be

locked.

3. Privacy: the initial password is 1234. After accessing this function, you can select some items. Once an

item is selected, you need to input correct password whenever you want to enter there items to perform

further operations.

4. Auto keypad lock: The function enables you to lock the keypad. Set the auto locking time, 5s, 30s, 1min

or 5mins is available.

5. Lock screen by end-key: Users can activate/deactivate this function as needed.

6. Power-on password: Once this function is activated, password is required when powering on the phone.

Guard lock: When the guard lock is on, once your SIM card is replaced, the phone will automatically send stolen

information to the number you’ve set.

3.8 Games

Access this menu, it provides with an embedded game (F1 race). For specific operation about game, please refer to ‘Game

help’ option of the game.

3.9 File manager

The phone provides a certain space for users to manage files and supports the Micro SD card. You can use the file manager

to conveniently manage various directories and files on the phone and the Micro SD card.

Connection management

Through this function, you can set network account related parameters.

This mobile phone meets the government’s requirements for exposure to radio waves.

This phone is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy

set by the Federal Communications Commission of the U.S. Government.

The exposure standard for wireless mobile phones employs a unit of measurement known as the Specific Absorption

Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit set by the FCC is 1.6W/kg.

Tests for SAR are conducted using standard operating

positions accepted by the FCC with the phone transmitting at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency

bands. Although the SAR is determined at the highest certified power level, the actual SAR level of the phone while

operating can be well below the maximum value. This is because the phone is designed to operate at multiple power

levels so as to use only the poser required to reach the network. In general, the closer you are to a wireless base

station antenna, the lower the power output.

The highest SAR value for the model phone as reported to the FCC when tested for use at the ear is 1.04 W/kg and
