-4- 1 Getting started 1.1 Installing the SIM Cards and the Battery An SIM card carries useful information, including your mobile phone number, PIN (Personal Identification Number), PUK (PIN Unlocking Key), IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity), network information, contacts data, and short messages data. 1.2 Charging the Battery The lithium battery delivered with the mobile phone can be put into use immediately after being unpacked. Your mobile phone can monitor and display the battery state.  Normally the remaining energy of the battery is indicated by the battery level icon at the upper right corner of the display screen.  When the battery energy is insufficient, the mobile phone prompts "Battery low". If you have set an alert tone, an alert tone will be given off when the battery level is too low.  A charging animation appears when the battery is being charged. When the charging is complete, the animation disappears.  It is normal of the battery to become hot during the charging period.  The battery icon does no longer flicker when the charging process ends.  Use only the battery provided by the vendor. Otherwise, damages or even injuries could be caused
-5- during the charging.  Power off the mobile phone before removing the battery.  The charging process lasts a longer time for a new battery or a battery not in use for long. If the battery voltage is too low to enable the mobile phone to be powered on, charge the battery for a longer time.  During the charging, ensure the battery is placed in a room temperature environment or in an environment close to room temperature. Immediately stop using the battery if the battery produces odor, overheats, cracks, distorts or has other damage, or if the electrolyte leaks.  The battery wears out with use. A longer charging time is required as the battery is put into use for a long time.  You can charging and data link with PC use USB cable, which should be shielded and with four cores.  USB cable should shielded cable with four cores. 1.3 Linking to the Network After the SIM card and the mobile phone are successfully unlocked, the mobile phone automatically searches for an available network. 2 Input method This mobile phone provides multiple input methods, including English input in both upper and lower case, Es, ES and numeric input method.
-6- 2.1 To Shift Entry Methods Press # key to switch between input methods. 2.2 Numeric and English Input You can input numbers with the numeric input method. Press a number key to input the corresponding number. Switch to English input, press letter keys to input the English word. . 2.3 Inserting a Symbol Press the * key to enter the Select symbol interface and select a symbol you want. 3 Using the Menus 3.1 Contacts The mobile phone can store up to 500 telephone numbers. 3.2 Multimedia Mobile TV Your mobile phone is provided you for television. You can watch TV by searching the channels. While watching TV, you can dial or receive a call normally. During call conversation, the TV will turn mute
-7- automatically. When you have searched channels, you can enjoy them. Or you can update the list and research TV show, and your mobile phone will be scanning again. The searched TV show is charged free. File manager The phone provides a certain space for users to manage files and supports the T-Flash card. You can use the file manager to conveniently manage various directories and files on the phone and the T-Flash card. Camera Use this function to capture pictures. Audio Player Use this function to play audio files. In audio player interface, you can press * or # key to tune volume. Image browser You can view the pictures or images through this function. Video recorder This function enables you to record dynamic pictures. Video player Use this function to play video files.
-8- FM Radio You can use the application as a traditional FM radio with automatic tuning and saved channels. * or # key to tune volume. Sound recorder Use this function to record audio files. The phone supports WAV and AMR format. 3.3 Web This function enables you to view the internet. Your phone will ask you with existed way. You can start to view only by starting corresponding way. 3.4 Fun & Games Access this menu, you can have 4 chatting tools, that is, MSN, Yahoo Messenger, Facebook and Twitter. Moreover, it still provides with Java application and an embedded game (Puzzle), before entering Java, you can go to Java settings/Java network to set the corresponding parameter. For specific operation about game, please refer to ‘help’ option of the game. 3.5 Messaging You can send and receive test message and multimedia messages. If the short message memory is full, a blinking message icon appears on the top of the screen. While entering the Messaging interface, you will see the following menu options: Write message, Inbox, Draft, Outbox, Sent messages, Delete messages,
-9- Broadcast message, Templates and Message settings. 3.6 Call center Call history  Missed Calls / Dialed Calls/ Received Calls/Delete call logs You can view a list of the above.  Call Timers Choose call timers to view the last call time, the total time of all dialed calls and the total time of all received calls, and/or to reset all the time.  Call cost View the last call cost and total cost; Reset cost ---clear the fee records; View Maxmum cost--- Limit call fees in the specified pricing unit or currency unit. PIN2 code must be input to set call cost.  Text msg. counter View and preset the numbers of sent messages and received messages.  GPRS counter Access this menu to view the sent/received GPRS rate or to reset counter. Call Settings  Caller ID: Including set by Network, hides ID and send ID. Set by Network: While having a call conversation, you can send my caller ID in the form preset by the
-10- system. Hide ID: While having a call conversation, you will not send my caller ID. If the system does not support such function, call may fail. Send ID: While having a call conversation, you can send my caller ID to the system. Note: This function needs network support.  Call Waiting: You can set this function On or Off. The call hold and multi-party call cannot be active unless this function is activated.  Call divert: this network function enables you to forward incoming calls to another number you have previously specified. Name Description Divert All Voice Calls The network will divert all voice calls without conditions. Divert if Unreachable When the network cannot find your mobile phone (switched-off or out of the service area), it will divert the calls. Divert if no Answer When the mobile phone does not answer the call, the network will automatically divert it. Divert if Busy When you are on line, the network will divert the call. Divert All Data Calls Network support needed.
-11- Cancel All Diverts Cancel all divert functions.  Call Barring: The call barring function enables you to bar calls as needed. When setting this function, you need to use a network barring code, which can be obtained from the network operator.  Line switching: you can switch to line 1 or line 2.  Advanced: Through this function, you can set blacklist, Auto redial, Call time display, Call time reminder, Auto quick end and Reject by SMS. 3.7 User profiles The mobile phone provides multiple user profiles，General, Meeting, Outdoor, Indoor, Silent, Headset and Bluetooth.. You can customize settings on profile and then activate corresponding profiles. When you insert an earpiece to the mobile phone, the mobile phone automatically enters the Headset mode. There is no option for activating the Headset mode on the screen. For details on operation, refer to General. If you set Headset > Customize > Answer mode to Any key, incoming calls will be automatically answered. 3.8 Organizer Calendar Once you enter this menu, there is a monthly-view calendar for you to keep track of important appointments, etc.
-12- Calculator This calculator provides limited precision and is only applicable to simple arithmetic calculation. Tasks World clock Access this menu to view time of main cities in various time zones. E-book reader E-book reader enables you to read TXT file. Alarm Five alarm clocks are set but deactivated by default.. For each alarm clock, the ringing date and the ringing time can be set. Stopwatch Access the menu, you can use fully the stopwatch.
-13- 3.9 Settings Dual SIM switch You can select between Select with SIM status and Use default mode. Dual SIM settings Press Ok key to choose amongst Dual SIM open, Only SIM 1 open, Only SIM 2 open and Flight mode. Phone Settings  Time and date: set the date format, the time format, and detail time of the location.  Schedule power on/off: Set the time when the mobile phone will be automatically powered on or off.  Language: Select the display language for the mobile phone.  Preferred input method: Select one of the input method as the prior. So while you write SMS/MMS, it will automatically display the selected input method by default.  Display: Users can access this item to set wallpaper, screen saver, power on/off display, etc.  Dedicated key: Customize the shortcut functions of the Up, Down, Left, and Right direction keys. In the standby interface, you can press a direction key to directly enter the function menu corresponding to that direction key.  Auto update of the date and time: Press OK key to set On/Off, and the time and date will automatically update while you power off/on the mobile phone, etc.
-14-  Misc settings: Adjust the LCD brightness and time, and Switch on/off the breath LED. Network settings You can search the network again. Select your favorite network and choose to register the network automatically or manually. Preferences: You can set the preferred registered network for SIM card. Security Settings This function provides you with related settings about safety use  SIM security PIN Lock: The PIN (Personal identification number, 4 to 8 digits) code prevents your SIM card from being used by unauthorized people. In general, the PIN is supplied with SIM card by the network operator. If PIN check is enabled, you need to input the PIN each time when you power on your mobile phone. The SIM card will be locked if you input wrong PIN code for three times PIN2 lock: The PIN2 code (4 to 8 digits), supplied with SIM card, is required to access some functions such as “call costs setup” and “fixed dialing setup”. Please contact the network operator to verify whether your SIM card supports these functions. If you input wrong PIN2 for three times, the PIN2 will be locked. Change password: Change the PIN/PIN 2, you should consult the local SIM provider for the original password.  Phone lock: Set the phone lock, the password is 1122 by default.
-15-  Auto keypad lock: The function enables you to lock the keypad. Set the auto locking time, 5s, 30s, 1min or 5mins is available.  Change password: The initial password is 1122. Connectivity  Bluetooth: With Bluetooth, you can make a wireless connection to other compatible devices. Data account: GSM Data—You can set the number, name DNS etc. GPRS—You can set the name, APN, user name, password, Auth. type, DNS. Note: For related charging standard and detailed settings, please consult the local network service operator. Different network service providers provide different services. Consult the local network operator. Restore factory settings Use this function to restore factory settings. The initial password is 1122. Shortcut Add the corresponding function , enable, and go to phone settings to set the dedicated key.
-16- 4 FCC Warning 4.1 FCC Regulations: This mobile phone complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. This mobile phone has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiated radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: -Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. -Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
-17- -Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. -Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user‘s authority to operate the equipment. The antenna(s) used for this transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
-18- 4.2 RF Exposure Information (SAR) This mobile phone meets the government’s requirements for exposure to radio waves. This phone is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy set by the Federal Communications Commission of the U.S. Government. The exposure standard for wireless mobile phones employs a unit of measurement known as the Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit set by the FCC is 1.6W/kg. *Tests for SAR are conducted using standard operating positions accepted by the FCC with the phone transmitting at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands. Although the SAR is determined at the highest certified power level, the actual SAR level of the phone while operating can be well below the maximum value. This is because the phone is designed to operate at multiple power levels so as to use only the poser required to reach the network. In general, the closer you are to a wireless base station antenna, the lower the power output. The highest SAR value for the model phone as reported to the FCC when tested for use at the ear is 0.975 W/kg and when worn on the body, as described in this user guide, is 0.993 W/kg (Body-worn measurements differ among phone models, depending upon available accessories and FCC requirements.) While there may be differences between the SAR levels of various phones and at various positions, they all meet the government requirement.

SAR information on this model phone is on file with the FCC and can be found under the Display Grant section of www.fcc.gov/oet/ea/fccid after searching on FCC ID: YHLBLUELECTRO. For body worn operation, this phone has been tested and meets the FCC RF exposure guidelines for use with an accessory that contains no metal and the positions the handset a minimum of 1.5 cm from the body. Use of other accessories may not ensure compliance with FCC RF exposure guidelines. If you do not use a body-worn accessory and are not holding the phone at the ear, position the handset a minimum of 1.5 cm from your body when the phone is switched on.
