inputtedwhenpoweringonthemobilephone.
PIN
ThePIN(Personalidentificationnumber4to8digits)codepreventsyourSIMcardfromunauthorizeduse.OnceaPIN
lockisenabled,youwillneedtoinputthePINanytimethephoneispoweredon.TheSIMcardwilllockifthePIN
codeisinputtedincorrectlythreeconsecutivetimes.
Note:TheSIMcardwillbelockedifyouinputwrongPINcodeforthreetimes.TounlocktheSIMcard,youneedto
inputthePUK.ThePUKcodecanbeobtaineddirectlyfromthenetworkserviceoperator.
PUKCode
ThePUKcode(PersonalUnlockingNumber)isasecurityfeaturethatlocksthephoneintheeventofunauthorizeduse
andwillbeneededintheeventofthePINcodebeingenteredincorrectly.Pleasecontactyourserviceproviderforthe

PUKcode.Ifcodeisenteredincorrectlytensuccessivetimes,theSIMcardwillnotbeabletobeusedagain.Please

GettingStarted
InstallingtheSIMCard,SDCardandBattery
ASIMcardcarriesusefulinformation,includingyourmobilephonenumber,PIN(PersonalIdentificationNumber),
PUK(PINUnlockingKey),IMSI(InternationalMobileSubscriberIdentity),networkinformation,phonebookdata,and
shortmessagingdata.
Installation
HoldtheEndKeyandpoweroffthemobilephoneifthephoneispoweredon.
Pullthebackcoverandremoveit.
Pullthebatteryoutwardandremovethebattery.
InserttheSIMcardintotheSIMcardslotensuringthatthecardisproperlyaligned.
InserttheSDcardintotheSDcardslotforadditionalstoragecapacity.
OncetheSIMandSDcardarefixedin,insertthebatteryandpressthebatterydownuntilitlocksintoplace.

ChargingtheBattery
Pleaseconsiderthefollowinginformationwhendealingwithbatterycharging:
‐Normallythebatteryindicatorislocatedintheupperrightcornerportionofthedisplayscreen.
‐Whenthebatteryenergyisinsufficient,themobilephonewillpromptlowbatteryandanalerttonewillnotifythe
userofthebatterylevel.
‐Acharginganimationappearswhenthebatteryisbeingcharged.Whenthechargingiscomplete,theanimationwill
stop.
‐Itisnormalforthebatterytowarmupwhenthephoneisbeingcharged.
‐ UseonlyBLUauthorizedaccessoriesandbatteries.Theuseofotherbrandedaccessoriesmaycausethephoneto
malfunctionunexpectedly.
‐Poweroffthemobilephonebeforeremovingthebattery.

Profiles:Themobilephoneprovidesmultipleuserprofilesthatmaybecustomizedtospecificeventsand

userprofilesfallintofourselections:General,Silent,MeetingandOutdoor.Whenyouinsertanearpiecetothe
mobilephone,themobilephoneautomaticallyenterstheHeadsetmode.Thereisnooptionforactivatingthe
HeadsetmodeonthescreenundertheUserProfilesmenuoption.
