-4- 2. Your Mobile Phone 2.1 Overview
-5- 2.2 Key Functions The mobile phone provides the following key functions:  Dial Key Press to place a call from a dialed number or a contact from the phonebook. You may also press the dial key to receive an incoming call or to show the latest call records.  End Key Press to end an ongoing call or to exit a menu and return to the home screen. Press the End key from the home screen to establish the screen lock. To power off the phone, hold the end key for 3 seconds.  Direction Key Press to scroll when browsing a feature or function. While in edit mode, press the direction keys to navigate.  Selection Key Press to make a selection.  Number Keys and Letter Keys Press number keys 1 through 9 to input numbers and characters. Press letter keys A through Z to input letters and characters. For added convenience, you may also press the * key to input P and + as additional keys. "P" is for pause and is used for calling an extension or voicemail and "+" is used for placing international calls.

Getting Started 3.1 Installing the SIM Card, SD Card and Battery A SIM card carries useful information, including your mobile phone number, PIN (Personal Identification Number), PUK (PIN Unlocking Key), IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity), network information, phonebook data, and short messaging data. Installation  Hold the End Key and power off the mobile phone  Push the back cover and remove it.  Pull the left battery buckle outward and lift the battery.  Insert the SIM card into the SIM card slot ensuring that the card is properly aligned and that the gold contact of the card is facing down.  The SD card is a mobile storage card that the phone may utilize to store different files. Please insert the SD card into the SD card slot.  Insert the battery with the gold contacts of the battery facing the metallic contacts in the battery slot and press the battery down until it locks into place.  Phone Lock Code The phone lock code is a security measure that may be set to prevent your mobile phone from unauthorized use. The initial phone lock code is set to 1234 and may be changed by the user. Once the lock code is set, it will need to be inputted when powering on the mobile phone. You can charge using a shielded USB cable connected to the PC.
-7-  PIN Code The PIN (Personal identification number 4 to 8 digits) code prevents your SIM card from unauthorized use. Once a PIN lock is enabled, you will need to input the PIN any time the phone is powered on. The SIM card will lock if the PIN code is inputted incorrectly three consecutive times. To Unlock: - Input the correct PUK to unlock the SIM card. - Input the new PIN and press the Selection key. - Input the new PIN again to verify and then press the Selection key. - If the input PUK is correct, the SIM card will be unlocked and the PIN will be reset. Note: The SIM card will be locked if you input wrong PIN code for three times. To unlock the SIM card, you need to input the PUK. The PUK code can be obtained from the network operator.  PUK Code The PUK code (Personal Unlocking Number) is a security feature that locks the phone in the event of unauthorized use and will be needed in the event of the PIN code being entered incorrectly. Please contact your service provider for the PUK code. If code is entered incorrectly ten successive times, the SIM card will not be able to be used again. Please contact your service provider for a new card.  Call Barring Code A barring code is a code required for the call barring feature. You can obtain this code from the network operator.

Using the Menu 4.1 Messaging Through this feature you can create, read, or send a new message.  Write Message: Access this menu to create a text message or multimedia message.  Inbox: Received messages are listed in this location.  Drafts: Drafts messages are listed in this location.  Outbox: The messages which failed delivery or are temporarily stored in the Outbox.  Sent Messages: Sent messages are listed in this location.  Broadcast Messages: This network service enables you to receive a variety of text messages such as broadcast messages about weather forecast or road conditions. At the present time, few networks provide this service. Please consult your network operator.  Templates: Ten text templates are provided and can be used to create a new message.  Message Settings：This function enables default settings for SMS and MMS. 4.2 Contacts The phonebook feature allows you to browse, store, edit, and delete phone numbers. The SIM card storage capacity depends on the SIM card and the storage capacity of the mobile phone memory varies depending on the mobile phone set. 4.3 Radio You can use the phone as a traditional FM radio with automatic tuning and saved channels. In FM radio interface, you may press left or right direction key to search channels manually, press selection key to
-9- start/pause, or press direction key up and down to adjust the volume. 4.4 Call Logs The call log keeps record of missed calls, dialed calls and received calls. 4.5 Multimedia  Image Viewer: Use this feature to view pictures or images.  Video Player: Use this feature to play video files. Through pressing the direction key you can control the playing process of video player: Play/Pause (Selection key), Fast Forward (Right Direction key) and Rewind (Left Direction key). You may press the Up or Down Direction key to adjust the volume.  Video Recorder: Use this feature to record video files.  Sound Recorder: The phone supports .WAV and .AMR file extensions.  File Manager: You may use the file manager to conveniently manage various directories and files on the phone and the SD card and to format data in the memory. 4.6 Settings  Dual SIM Settings: Dual-SIM refers to a phone having two SIM card slots.  Pen Calibration: Click the screen to start calibration and follow the screen prompt. This operation allows the screen to respond quicker and more precise.  User Profiles: The mobile phone provides multiple user profiles that may be customized to specific events and environments.  Phone Settings: This function allows adjustment in time, date, language, shortcuts, and other changes. Note: When flight mode is engaged, it will suspend many of the devices signal-transmitting functions –
-10- thereby disabling the device's capacity to place or receive calls or text messages. Other functions that do not require signal transmission (e.g., games, built-in camera, and MP3 player) are still available.  Network Settings: Set Network selection mode and GPRS. Automatic network selection mode is recommended. When Network selection mode is set to Automatic, the mobile phone will prefer the network where the SIM card is registered (Home Service Provider).  Security Settings：The security settings ensure the device is protected from unauthorized use.  Call Settings: This feature allows call waiting, call barring, and call divert functions to be set.  Restore Factory Settings: This feature allows a master reset. The initial password is 1234. 4.7 Organizer  Bluetooth: With Bluetooth you can make a wireless connection to other compatible devices such as mobile phones, computers, headsets and car kits. You can also use Bluetooth to send images, video clips, music, sound clips and notes, and transfer files from a compatible PC.  Tasks: You may use this feature to create new memos. If an alarm has been set for a memo, the alarm tone will alert the user.  World Clock: Access this feature to view main cities in various time zones.  Stopwatch: Use this feature for measuring time and to register several results.  STK: STK service is the tool kit of SIM card. The specific items depend on SIM card and network provider. The service menu will be automatically added to the phone menu when supported by network and the SIM card. 4.8 Fun & Games  Games: Access to this feature provides an F1 Race game. For specific instructions about game, please
-11- refer to the “Help” option in the game menu.  BLU Store: You can access to BLU Store through this function. 4.9 Camera The phone provides a camera feature to capture pictures. In the camera interface, you may press the Selection key to take a picture and may press up or down Direction key to zoom in and zoom out. 4.10 Music Use this feature to play audio files and control the audio player by pressing the direction keys: Play/Pause (Selection key), Previous Song/Next Song (Left and Right Direction key), Fast Forward (Long Press Right Direction key) and Rewind (Long Press Left Direction key). You may press the up or down direction keys to adjust the volume. 4.11 Calculator The calculator can add, subtract, multiply and divide. To use the calculator: Press the up, down, left and right key to select ＋, －, ×, ÷, ＝ respectively. 4.12 Calendar This feature provides a monthly-view calendar to keep track of important appointments and daily events. 4.13 BLU Club This feature enables you to view the internet and set default features about the home network. You may log on Face Talk, Facebook, MSN, Yahoo, Twitter through the web page.
-12- 4.14 Web  Internet Service: This feature allows you to view the internet. 4.15 TV This menu allows you to watch mobile TV programs and add programs to the channel list. Note: Before watching, please search available channels in your area then select the channel to watch. 4.16 Alarm Five alarm clocks are provided with the phone. You may adjust the date and time for each alarm clock and may also set ringing alert. The alarm clocks may also be activated individually. *The company reserves the right to issue no further notice in case of upgrade or modification of this model. FCC Regulations: This mobile phone complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. This mobile phone has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiated radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

Caution: Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user‘s authority to operate the equipment. RF Exposure Information (SAR) This phone is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy set by the Federal Communications Commission of the United States, Industry Canada of Canada. During SAR testing, this device was set to transmit at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands, and placed in positions that simulate RF exposure in usage against the head with no separation, and near the body with the separation of 15 mm. Although the SAR is determined at the highest certified power level, the actual SAR level of the device while operating can be well below the maximum value. This is because the phone is designed to operate at multiple power levels so as to use only the power required to reach the network. In general, the closer you are to a wireless base station antenna, the lower the power output. The exposure standard for wireless devices employing a unit of measurement is known as the Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit set by the FCC is 1.6W/kg, and 1.6W/kg by Industry Canada.
-14- This device is complied with SAR for general population /uncontrolled exposure limits in ANSI/IEEE C95.1-1992 and Canada RSS 102, and had been tested in accordance with the measurement methods and procedures specified in OET Bulletin 65 Supplement C, and Canada RSS 102. This device has been tested, and meets the FCC, IC RF exposure guidelines when tested with the device directly contacted to the body. The FCC has granted an Equipment Authorization for this model phone with all reported SAR levels evaluated as in compliance with the FCC RF exposure guidelines. SAR information on this model phone is on file with the FCC and can be found under the Display Grant section of www.fcc.gov/oet/ea/fccid after searching on FCC ID: YHLBLUSPARKTV. For this device, the highest reported SAR value for usage against the head is 1.11 W/kg, for usage near the body is 0.45W/kg. While there may be differences between the SAR levels of various phones and at various positions, they all meet the government requirements. SAR compliance for body-worn operation is based on a separation distance of 15 mm between the unit and the human body. Carry this device at least 15 mm away from your body to ensure RF exposure level compliant or lower to the reported level. To support body-worn operation, choose the belt clips or holsters, which do not contain metallic components, to maintain a separation of 15 mm between this device and your body. RF exposure compliance with any body-worn accessory, which contains metal, was not tested and certified, and use such body-worn accessory should be avoided.
