INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of the ONELINK
Door/Window Contact Sensor. It is constructed with UV
resistant ABS plastic allowing for indoor use. The sensor
works by creating a magnetic field between the sensor and
the magnetic contact. When there is a change in status,
either opening or closing, it is reported to the Wireless
System Gateway and an event is triggered.
Typical open air range (line of sight): 196 ft
Typical range indoors: 65 feet (20 m)
Dimensions:
Sensor — 1.106” x .678” x 3.544”
Contact — .655” x .667” x 1.960”

FAQ
MOUNTING YOUR SENSOR:
1. Determine the desired location where you would
like to mount your sensor. Remove the mounting
clip from the back of the sensor by sliding it up
and off the device. Using the mounting holes as a
guide, drill two small holes using a 1/4” drill bit.
Insert supplied wall anchors into holes and secure
sensor to wall with supplied screws.
Can I place the sensor in a different room from the Wireless Gateway?
Yes, the sensor uses radio frequencies to communicate with the Gateway.
These frequencies can travel through objects such as walls, ceilings, and
floors.
How far away can the sensor be placed from the Wireless Gateway?
Typically 65 feet.
2. Attach the antenna to the top of the sensor.
Can I use the sensor on metal doors?
Yes, the sensor can be used on metal doors, doorframes and other
metal objects, though we recommend mounting on non-metal surfaces,
if possible, for the best reception.
3. Separate the front part of the sensor from the back to reveal the battery
compartment. Insert supplied batteries into the battery compartment by
matching each battery to the correct popularity. Reconnect the front and
back of the sensor and slide the sensor into place on the mounting clip.
How long will the battery last?
The batteries are expected to last up to 12 months. This will depend on
actual use and how often the Contact Sensor is triggered.
The LED indicator on the sensor is not on?
This indicates that the sensor has gone into hibernation mode to save
battery power. It will wake up when the sensor is triggered.
4. The Magnetic Contact should now be placed on the other side of the
object where you placed the sensor (typically the side that moves). Make
sure the contact aligns with the dots located on the top of the sensor and
the magnetic contact. The spacing between the sensor and the contact
should be between 1/10” and 1/2”. Securely attach the contact using
screws in the hardware kit. Remove the cover from the contact and insert
the screws through the holes on the top and bottom of the contact.
NOTE: In order to confirm that the Magnetic Contact is mounted within the
correct operating range, you may test the sensor by opening the door/window
and confirming that the LED blinks.
