Activate Bluetooth on your phone ▪ Press & Hold button for 7 seconds on your BOOMAX to activate pairing mode of the BOOMAX. * you will hear the "boot music” at the 3rd second and the voice prompt "pairing" at the 7th second and white LED will blink during pairing. On an Android Phone Go to SETTINGS > WIRELESS & NETWORK > Bluetooth Settings and enable Bluetooth. TALKING - Paired with One phone BOOMAX Speakerphone You can use BOOMAX as the speakphone by connected wirelessly with Bluetooth to your phone, tablet or PC so that you can make calls, answer calls by speaking to the built-in microphone as shown in the diagram below. EQ Select (Equalizer-Audio effect) 2 types of EQ - “Mega Bass” and “Rock” can be selected. Initiate a Voice Dial To initiate a voice dial, Press & Hold button for 1 seconds, then speak a command or a name. 17 18 TALKING - paired with One phone... BOOMAX Switch call from BOOMAX to Phone While you are speaking with the speakerphone of BOOMAX and you want to switch the call to the Phone just Press & Hold button for 2 seconds to transfer the call from BOOMAX to Phone. TALKING - Paired with Two phone PAIRING with your 2nd Phone BOOMAX Pairing with TWO phones for the first time ▪ When BOOMAX needs to pair with a second device, it needs to be restarted and reactivate the pairing mode. ▪ Go to your phone's Bluetooth settings, add or search for devices when "MIPOW_BOOMAX" appears, select it or enter passcode "0000" if asked. ▪ "beep" tone will be heard when paired. nd St 11 10 ▪ If the BOOMAX is connected before, it can be re-connected again when it is in standby mode. ▪ You will hear “beep” sound from BOOMAX when paired with your phone, the LED flashes once every 7 seconds when paired. Other Cell Phones Review the user manual that came with your phone 16 13 BOOMAX 13 12 11 WIRED CONNECTIONS BOOMAX 3.5mm Jack Connector Connect BOOMAX to any audio device with a 3.5mm Jack Connector, using the supplied audio stereo cable. Note : When a device is connected to the 3.5mm Jack Connnector, Bluetooth is disabled and wireless devices will not be able to play music. 10 BOOMAX Choose Multipoint function Double-tap button to initiate the multipoint function. Double-tap button to cancel the multipoint function. Tap the button to end the 1st phone’s call and answer the 2nd phone’s call. If you want to hold the 1st phone’s call, Double-tap button to hold the call. It is compatible with most smart phones, tablets, notebooks, PCs, and most devices with built-in Bluetooth. BOOMAX NOTE : If your BOOMAX is connected before, then you just need to Press & Hold for 2 seconds to reconnect the Second phone. Otherwise, you need to repeat the steps in 7. (i.e. Pages 10 - 13) for the pairing details. Clear the old paired information ABOUT BOOMAX Step 2. I cannot hear anything from BOOMAX • Ensure that BOOMAX is paired with the phone. • Make sure that the phone is connected to BOOMAX, if it does not connect either from the phone’s Bluetooth menu or by pressing the button, follow the pairing instructions in Section 6. I have pairing problems you may delete BOOMAX pairing connection in your mobile phone. Follow the pairing instructions in Section 6. Will BOOMAX work with other Bluetooth devices ? BOOMAX is designed to work with Bluetooth mobile phones. Please check your mobile phone’s manual for further details. 15 CARE INSTRUCTIONS BOOMAX Taking care of your BOOMAX • Always store the BOOMAX with the power off and safely protected. • Avoid storage at extreme temperatures (above 45°C or below -10°C). MIPOW warrants that the product is at the time of its original purchase free of defects in workmanship and material. This Limited Warranty for the product shall last for twelve(12) months from the date of original purchase. This original warranty card and original invoice must be presented at the time you require warranty service or such warranty will be voided. This limited warranty is valid only if the product is used for the purpose for which it was designed. it does not apply to damage or loss caused by negligence; physical abuse; misuse; accident; exposure to moisture; dampness or extreme temperatures; unauthorized modifications; unauthorized opening or repair; forces of nature; or other actions beyond the reasonable control of MIPOW.
