Important Safety Instructions

Charging the Battery
• Connect the USB power cable to the Soundbook Go
• Plug the USB power adapter into your phone charger’s USB socket, or into your computer.
• Your Soundbook Go has been shipped to you already charged so that you can enjoy it straight away, however, when you charge
it for the first time, please let it charge for 12 hours.
• Charging is complete when the illuminated USB charge port turns green
Listening to Bluetooth Music
• Turn on your Soundbook Go (open the cover and if necessary press and hold the Power button until your Soundbook Go turns on).
• Check if the Bluetooth LED is illuminated – if not, short-press the Power Button to select the Bluetooth Input.
Connect by NFC – Automatic pairing
If your audio source supports NFC, you can use NFC Secure Simple Pairing to connect your phone to the Soundbook Go1:
• Turn on your audio source and unlock the screen
• Ensure that NFC is enabled in the settings on your audio source
• Touch the back of your audio source to the back cover of your Soundbook Go where the NFC logo is located
– you will be asked to confirm that you wish to connect and pair with the Bayan Soundbook – select Yes/OK.
• You can disconnect by simply touching your audio source again to the back cover of your Soundbook Go.

Connect by traditional Bluetooth Pairing
If your audio source does not support NFC but is Bluetooth enabled, you can use Bluetooth Secure Simple
Pairing to connect and stream music:
• Consult your audio source user manual for instructions on how to pair with Bluetooth devices – generally you will need to go into
your settings, Bluetooth, scan for new Bluetooth devices and select ‘Bayan SBK GO’ You will not be prompted for a pass-code for
pairing.
Note:
• For secure simple pairing to work, your MP3 /phone / tablet / laptop must be in close proximity to your Soundbook Go when
trying to pair (nominally within a range of 50cm)
• After pairing is successful, paired devices will remember each other – unless pairing information is deleted there is no need to carry
out pairing again. Soundbook Go can remember the last 4 audio sources that it was paired with
• Soundbook Go will automatically connect to the last audio source it was connected to (if it is in range). If you want to connect to
an alternate audio source, switch off Bluetooth on the current connected audio source, and then pair / connect with the alternate
audio source according to the steps outlined above.
Bluetooth Status
The Soundbook Go display will show the current status of the Bluetooth connection. The Bluetooth status light
(shown in the
diagram) will flash when there is no Bluetooth audio source connected to the Bluetooth speaker, and will illuminate solid when a
Bluetooth audio source is connected.
Note:
If you are trying to connect your audio source to your Soundbook Go via Bluetooth and another device is already connected (e.g.
the Bluetooth status light is illuminated solid), Soundbook Go will reject your connection request – you must first disconnect the
Bluetooth source that is already connected to your Soundbook.

Bluetooth Hands Free Calling
Soundbook Go has an integrated microphone to enable you to make hands-free calls or use Soundbook Go for conference calling
as a speakerphone. To make a call via Bluetooth, initiate the call from your mobile phone, and then on the phone, select Soundbook
as the audio device for the call. To answer a call via Bluetooth, accept the call from your mobile phone, and on the phone select
Soundbook as the audio device for the call.
Connecting a source to the AUX input
Use the supplied 3.5mm stereo jack cable to connect the headphone output from your source device to the BLUE AUX input on the
back of your Soundbook Go.
Short-press the power button to select the AUX input – the Bluetooth LED indicator will turn off.
Controlling Volume for Bluetooth and AUX music playback
There are 2 volume controls available to adjust how loud your music is playing back – on the audio source itself, and on your
Soundbook Go. You will not be able to get maximum volume unless the volume is turned up to maximum both on the audio source
and your Soundbook. For the best quality audio and longest battery life, we recommend setting the volume of your audio source to
maximum, and then turning down the volume on your Soundbook Go to the desired listening level.
Troubleshooting
Soundbook Go will not turn on
Ensure that the battery is charged – connect the power cable to the back of your Soundbook and plug in to a laptop or mobile
phone USB charging source. The charge indicator light will be ORANGE when Soundbook Go is charging, and when fully charged
will turn GREEN.
I cannot hear any music
Ensure that the volume is turned up on both your source device (phone / mp3 player) and also on your Soundbook Go. Ensure that
Soundbook does not have a 3.5mm audio cable connected to the AUX input (for Bluetooth listening), or that it the AUX cable is
correctly connected for non-Bluetooth sources. Ensure that your source device has the correct output selected (for Bluetooth, select the
output as ‘Bayan SBK GO’)
I cannot pair my Bluetooth media player with my Soundbook Go
For secure simple pairing to function; your Bluetooth device needs to be in close proximity to your Soundbook Go (nominally within
50cm). For NFC pairing to work, your source device (phone / mp3 player) needs to be turned on and the screen unlocked.

Appels mains libres avec Bluetooth

• Soundbook Go sarà automaticamente connettersi l’ultima sorgente audio che veniva collegato (se è nella gamma). Se si desidera
connettersi a un’origine audio alternativa, spegnere il Bluetooth sull’attuale collegato sorgente audio e quindi coppia / connettersi

Stato Bluetooth
Soundbook Go viene visualizzato lo stato corrente della connessione Bluetooth. La spia di stato Bluetooth

Ci sono 2 controlli di volume disponibili per regolare quanto forte tua è musica – sulla sorgente audio stesso e sul tuo Soundbook

Soundbook. Per la migliore qualità audio e più lunga autonomia, si consiglia di impostare il volume della sorgente audio al massimo

Risoluzione dei problemi
Soundbook Go non si accende

Aansluiten met NFC – Automatisch koppelen
Als uw audiobron NFC ondersteunt kunt u gebruik maken van NFC Simple Pairing om uw telefoon op uw Sounbook aan
te sluiten1:
• Zet uw audiobron aan en ontgrendel het scherm
• Zorg ervoor dat NFC in de instellingen van uw audiobron geactiveerd is
• Raak met de achterkant van uw audiobron de achterkant van uw Soundbook aan waar het NFC logo te zien is- u zult nu
gevraagd worden of u op uw Bayan Soundbook aan wilt sluiten en wilt koppelen - selecteer “Ja/OK”
• U kunt weer afkoppelen door met uw audiobron de achterkant van uw Soundbook aan te raken.

Aansluiten door gebruikelijk Bluetooth koppelen
Als uw audiobron geen NFC ondersteunt, maar wel Bluetooth, kunt u gebruik maken van Bluetooth Secure
Simple Pairing om te koppelen muziek te streamen:
Raadpleeg de handleiding van uw audiobron voor aanwijzingen met betrekking tot het koppelen van Bluetooth apparatuur – u dient
hiervoor meestal in uw instellingen ‘Bluetooth’ te selecteren, daarna nieuwe Bluetooth apparaten te scannen en vervolgens
Bayan SBK GO te selecteren. U zult niet om een wachtwoord voor het koppelen gevraagd worden.
Noot:
-Om ervoor te zorgen dat uw MP3 speler/telefoon/tablet/laptop goed en veilig kan koppelen dient deze dicht bij uw Soundbookt
te zijn tijdens het koppelen (op een afstand van minder dan 1 meter).
-Als het koppelen is gelukt zullen de apparaten elkaar onthouden – tenzij de koppelingsinformatie verwijderd wordt hoeft u het
koppelen niet te herhalen. Uw Soundbook kan de laatste 4 audiobronnen onthouden waarmee het was gepaard.
-Uw Soundbook Go zal automatisch met de laatst gekoppelde audiobron contact maken wanneer dit binnen bereik komt. Als u
op een andere audiobron wilt aansluiten dient u Bluetooth op het eerste apparaat uit te zetten en dan volgens de bovenstaande
instructies het andere apparaat aan te sluiten of te koppelen.
Bluetooth Status
Het display van de Soundbook Go zal de huidige status van de Bluetooth verbinding tonen. Het Bluetooth statuslampje (aangegeven
in de bovenstaande figuur) knippert als er geen Bluetooth bron op de Bluetooth luidspreker is aangesloten en zal ononderbroken
blijven branden als een Bluetooth audiobron is verbonden.
Noot:
Indien u probeert om uw audio bron via Bluetooth op uw Soundbook Go aan te sluiten en er al een ander apparaat is aangesloten
(d.w.z. het Bluetooth status lampje brandt ononderbroken) zal uw Soundbook Go deze verbinding weigeren en zult u eerst het
andere apparaat dat op uw Soundbook is aangesloten dienen te verwijderen.

Bluetooth Hands Free Bellen
Uw Soundbook Go is voorzien van een geïntegreerde microfoon waarmee u handsfree kunt bellen of telefonisch te kunt vergaderen
waarbij de Soundbook Go als telefoonspeaker dient. Om via Bluetooth te kunnen bellen, dient u het nummer via uw mobiele
telefoon te bellen en daarna op uw mobiele telefoon uw Soundbook Go te selecteren als audioapparaat voor dit gesprek.
Om via Bluetooth een gesprek te ontvangen dient u dit gesprek op uw mobiele telefoon te accepteren en daarna op uw mobiele
telefoon uw Soundbook te selecteren als audioapparaat voor dit gesprek.
Een audiobron aansluiten op de AUX ingang
Gebruik de bijgeleverde 3,5mm stereo mini/jack kabel om de mini-jack/hoofdtelefoonuitgang van uw audiobron op de blauwe
AUX ingang op de achterkant van uw Soundbook Go aan te sluiten.
Het volume regelen voor Bluetooth- en AUX ingang muziekweergave
Er zijn 2 volumeregelaars beschikbaar om het volume van de muziek in te stellen – op de audio bron zelf en op uw Soundbook
Go. U zult de muziek allen op maximaal volume kunnen beluisteren als het volume op zowel de audio bron als uw Soundbook op
maximaal is ingesteld. Voor de beste geluidskwaliteit en langste batterij- c.q. speelduur, raden wij u aan om het volume van uw
audio bron op het maximum niveau in te stellen en het volume op uw Soundbook Go te verlagen tot het gewenste luisterniveau.
Problemen oplossen
Soundbook Go gaat niet aan
Zorg ervoor dat de batterij is opgeladen – sluit de USB kabel op de achterzijde van uw Soundbook Go aan en plug in een laptop
of een USB lader voor een mobiele telefoon. Tijdens het opladen zal het oplaad indicatorlampje ORANJE kleuren en als de batterij
vol is zal het GROEN oplichten.
Ik hoor geen muziek
Zorg ervoor dat het volume van zowel de bron (mobiele telefoon/MP3 speler) als uw Soundbook Go aan staan. Zorg ervoor dat
uw Soundbook in geval van Bluetooth luisteren er geen 3,5mm audiokabel is aangesloten op de AUX input, of dat de AUX kabel
op een juiste manier is aangesloten voor audiobronnen zonder Bluetooth. Zorg ervoor dat op uw audiobron de juiste uitgang is
geselecteerd (voor Bluetooth selecteer de output als Bayan SBK GO).
Ik kan mijn Bluetooth mediaspeler niet met mijn Soundbook Go koppelen
Om een succesvolle koppeling te waarborgen dient uw Bluetooth audiobront dicht bij uw Soundbook Go te zijn (op een afstand van
minder dan 50cm). Voor een NFC koppeling dient uw bron (mobiele telefoon/MP3 speler aan te staan en het scherm ontgrendeld te
zijn.
