Part of the UD 720series Compact flash slot on the top and mini SD slot on the side are combined with bolts for the standards of dustproof and waterproof. When using a memory card outside for a long time, replace the Compact flash slot cover and tighten bolts. Please keep the cover and bolts carefully.  NOTE! Hand clip fixing groove is applied to the product back such as Bluetooth type. Keypad Charge LED Navigation Key * * Above described product functions can be different by product series.  Installing Batteries 1. Move the back up battery switch inside of the product back to the “on” before starting the product   This back up battery retains data in memory for about 5 minutes in average when the battery is discharged. Change or charge the battery as soon as possible. * If you don’t move the back-up battery switch to the “on”, data may be lost. For this reason, DO NOT switch off when using the product. 2. Insert the 2000mA lithium ion battery in the battery slot   3. Set the top edge of the battery into the inside of the battery slot properly and slide the battery down into the bottom of the battery to lock down.   4. For removing the battery, press the battery latch on the bottom of the battery upward and easily remove the battery.   4-1. The Backup Battery Switch 4-2. Installing the Battery 4-3. Removing the Battery ** DO NOT remove the battery when the power is on. The product may not work well.  Charging the Battery Before using the UD720 series first, charge the lithium ion battery for a few hours in the terminal by using USB and power basic cradle. When the battery is fully discharged, you need to charge it for 4 hours.  1. Connect AC adaptor to power port in the cradle back.   2. Connect the USB cable to the USB client port and connect the USB cable into PC, then automatically install USB Driver. 3. Insert the UD720 series terminal into the cradle and plug in the AC adaptor.  Note: In case of being covered with foreign substance  such  as dust or a piece of metal on the terminal of the product and the cradle, it would raise a problem with the product.    3-1. Attaching the Handstrap Follow the procedure to attach the Handstrap. 1. Face the Velcro down and insert the end of the strap into the niche on the top of the product back. 2. Pull the strap out of the niche down to the bottom of the product.   3. Insert the end of the strap into the strap ring.   4. Insert the strap ring into the notch on the bottom of the product and adjust the strap as necessarily and attach the Velcro. 5. Detach the ring from the notch of the product when you change the battery. Aim the scanner at the center of the barcode in horizon about 5degree~ 7degree downward. 2. Press the scan trigger and the entire bar code is covered with red scan beam. A beep sounds to indicate a successful decode.

Warning and Notice To use product safe and right, follow the below instructions - This product complies with electromagnetic waves emission regulation by government   - Do not contact the product (especially power cable connector and cradle terminal) with some electric conductors such as keys and clips due to the danger of fire, heat and electric shock etc. - Do not touch or connect the adaptor or power supply plug if product is wet or cradle terminal. - Do not put or heat the product in the microwave oven, stove and gas range etc. when it is wet. It may be not worked and very dangerous and possibly explode.   - Be careful of using product in the place that flammable gases such as Bhutan gas, gasoline, spray occur. It can be the reason of explosion, fire.   - Be careful of charging the battery in vehicles during a flash of lightning. It can be the reason of strike of lightning and electric shock. - Surely unplug during product cleaning and polish the product when a foreign substance is around on the pin of power supply plug. - In case battery liquid flows into the eyes, then clear it in the eyes and should go to see a doctor immediately. - Surely close each cover away from a foreign substance, except for removing each cover for the general use such as inserting application into compact flash slot, - Do not use the power plug in case feel that the outlet is unfastened and not damage the power plug.   - Please use the battery and the cradle we service, if DO NOT, the product may be out of order and can’t be repaired and may explode.
- Do not directly see the Laser beam in the barcode. If so, it may loose or drop your eyes. - Do not disassembly, reorganize and repair the product with unauthorized. It may cause serious damage, strike of lightning and fire. - Use the authorized accessories and options. If having further information, refer to the head office. - Surely fully charge the main battery and the backup battery to prolong the battery lifetime. - If the product is not available or out of order, as fast as possible cut the power and refer to the head office or agency. - Do not keep the product in cold or hot for long hours. It may shorten the product lifetime or lose the product efficiency. - Do not expose the product around the humid or water place for long hours. The product may rust and then it cause breakdown.   - Do not put the product with magnetic materials such as credit cards or subway tickets. It may damage the product or cause breakdown of it and loose information in magnetic materials. - Touch screen is so easily breaking that DO NOT use sharp materials such as nail, needles and screw drivers instead of stylus. - Do not leave the product alone for long hours. It may cause discharging the battery and be unable to use data. So, please switch off and remove battery and then charge it regularly. - Do not carry the product with medical equipment inside pocket. - Power off the product with CDMA in the specific areas such as hospital and airplane. - Do not use the strong toxic chemical materials or strong detergent for cleaning.   - Do not paint or coat the product. It may affect on the product operation.   - Do not allow children and pets to bite the product. If so, it may damage or explode the product.
