Additional Regulatory and Safety Information for Aquaphonics AQ9, AQ10, and AQ11  CARE +MAINTENANCE  Cleaning 1. Wipe with a dry cloth. 2. Rinse with fresh water after exposure to soap, chlorine or seawater. 3. Do not use solvents, chemicals, cleaning solutions, alcohol, ammonia or abrasives.  Important Safety Instructions 1. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat. 6.  Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug.  A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other.   A grounding-type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong.  The wide blade or the third prong is provided for your safety.  If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet. 7.  The MAINS plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable. (AQ10 + AQ11 only) 8.  Only use attachments / accessories specified by the manufacturer. 9.  Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time. 10. Speaker is only waterproof when dry box is closed. Ensure lid is secure before exposing to water (AQ10 + AQ11 only). 11. Information such as model number, electrical rating and other classifications is located on the back of your speaker (AQ9) or on the bottom of your speaker (AQ10 + AQ11). 12. The device contains no user serviceable parts. Do not attempt to disassemble, modify or repair this device. 13. Dispose of this product properly and in accordance to local disposal requirements. Do not dispose in trash or fire. 14. Failure to follow the above warnings may result in damage to persons or property, so please follow all warnings!  Water Your speaker is waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes. Prolonged exposure is not recommended. Speaker is only waterproof when dry box is closed (AQ10 + AQ11).  Drop Your speaker is drop proof to 1.2 meters. After major impacts, inspect for damage, including port cover seals and dry box (AQ10 + AQ11 only). Heat Never expose your speaker to fire, flame or lighted candles. Do not install near heat sources like radiators, heat registers, stoves, amplifiers or other apparatus that produce heat.   Battery Do not leave a battery on prolonged charge when not in use. The battery provided with your speaker is not user serviceable. Contact LifeProof Customer Service for all battery related issues. Charging The charger provided is designed for indoor use only. Charge your speaker with the USB cable. Make sure the USB cable is fully inserted into the speaker before plugging other end into USB power source. Repair Never dismantle your speaker. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
