Dryer Purge Valve Assembly, Adds Replacement Kits
The times are changing and so are we. Over the years, evolving commercial vehicle engine emissions standards have
resulted in higher heat and new air system contaminants. So, as part of our ongoing continuous improvement process,
Bendix – the leader in air treatment system design – has redesigned our AD-IS® / AD-IP® air dryer purge valve assembly
for even greater service life and reliability for your customers.
Here’s an overview of the improvements along with an easy-to-use guide to help you and your customers transition to
the new part numbers.
Our Updated Purge Valve Assembly Offers:

• New dual U-cup seal
• Wear band addition
• A longer return spring with more
active coils

• Improved durability and
performance from two seals versus
one
• The U-cup seals are protected from
additional premature wear
• Enables consistent piston return

times longer life than the previous
