Red indicates the unit is charging BEFORE USE The BassBoomz speaker works when open or closed. However. when opened, the Bass Expansion System is activated, producing a fuller. richer sound. To Open: Grip the top and bottom of the unit and gently twist the top of the unit counter—clockwise. DO NOT pull hard once open as it will automati— cally extend to the proper position. CHARGING THE BATTERY The battery should be fully charged within 1.5 hours. 1, Connect the micro USB charging cable (3) (included) to the speaker (7). 2. Connect the other end of the charging cable into a USB powered port or any other USB AC adapter (not included). 3. The red LED light (8) indicates the unit is charging and will turn off when the battery is fully charged. 4. Disconnect power from the speaker by unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet (not by unplugging the power cord from the speaker). Plug one end of the 3,5mm audio cable (included) into the head phone or line-out jack of your audio device. 2. Plug the other end of the cable into the LINE IN jack (5) located on the back of the unit. 3. Slide the power switch of the speaker to ON position. 4. Turn on your audio device and play music. Make sure your audio device is charged and turned to medium volume. 5. Adjust the volume on your audio device to the desired level. 6. Slide the power switch to the OFF position when you are finished listening. You may also turn off your audio device. NOTE: The speaker is powered by a lithium—ion rechargeable battery It you start to notice sound distortion or the green LED is flashing, the battery is low and needs to be recharged. BLUETOOTH PLAY MODE 1. Slide the power switch (6) on the speaker to the ON position. 2, Ensure that the Bluetooth function lS turned ON. on your audio device (notebook, tablet, or smartphone). 3.
