Secure_thehandleby placing one (1) Phillips
head _ screw (supplied)through the screw
openingin the lower bodyand into the rear
of the handleassembly.Tightenwith
screwdriver until secure.

2-in-1 watertank
Our2-in-1 watertanksystemisdesignedwith a
heavydtdybladderinsidefor cleanwater.Asyou
clean,the cleanwaterin the bladderwill empty
andmixwiththe cleaningformula.Dirtywater
pulledoutofyourcarpetswill collectaroundthe
outsideof the bladdersothatcleananddirty
waterare alwayskeptseparate.Thisallowsthe
userto maximizetank space,yetonlycarryone
tank to andfromthe sinkfor emptyingandfilling.

Replacethe top of the tank by matching
the lidand tank edges.Handlemust be in
the forward position in orderto replacelid,

Placetank intomachinebase,seatingfirmly
in place.Rotatetank handleback into latched
position.Bringmachinehandlebackinto
uprightposition.

Plugthe deepcleanerintoa properoutletand
turnthe powerswitchON.Theswitchisfound
on the side ofthe unit.

Cleaningstrokes

While pressingthe spray releasetrigger,
makeone slow forward and backwardwet
pass.Let the BISSELLadvanceddeep
cleaningformula and DirtLifterPowerBrush
do the work for you.
Caution:Donot overwet.

Releasethe trigger and makeone slow
forward andback passover the same area
to removeany residualdirty water.

Repeatcleaningpasseswithout pressing
the trigger until you can't see any more
water beingsuctionedup.

Whencleaningjob is complete,referto the
Maintenancecaresectionon page9 for
machinecleanupand storageinstructions.

screen locatedon the tank lid.

Refillthe tank intank by referencing"Fill the

to secure the top of the tank by rotatingthe
handle andtest to makesure it is secure
before picking up.

Afteremptyingthe 2-in-1 watertank,rinseit out
at afaucetwithrunninghottap water,taking
careto cleanunderneathme heavyduty bladder,
andall aroundit.Cleanout lint'_ap.

Replacethe 2-in-1 watertank on the machine.

Any loose hair or debris can be pulledfrom
the brush roll if desiredand thrown away.

Wipethe machine'sexterior with a soft cloth.

After carpet is dry, vacuumagain to remove
hair and fuzz.
