formulasto maximizecleaningandforthe
safetyof yourmachine.Fillformulaupto the
lineandreplacethe capand insert.Place
formulatank intothe slot inthe backof the
machinefor a snugfit.

2b. If usingthe BISSELL3X ConcentratedFiber
CleansingFormula:Add 3 capfuls of 3X
ConcentratedFiberCleansingformula to the
formula tank,and then fill with warm water
to the line.
Set CustomCleanDial.Simplychoose one
of the 4 settings (heavytraffic, normal clean,
light clean,or water rinse)and the PreHeat
2X will adjust the right amount of cleaning

Note: Remember to secure the tank latch in
the back and test to make sure it is secure
before picking up the tank. Always check
the level of cleaning farmula in the formula
tank at the same time, and refill as needed.

Water rinse (Optional). Rinsing is an optional
step that can be done during the cleaning process by switching from one of the clean
settings on the Custom Clean dial to a water rinse
setting, or it can be done after the carpeted area
has been cleaned. Simply choose the water rinse
setting on the custom clean dial, and follow the
same path as you did for cleaning, taking care
to do a forward (wet) stroke by depressing the
trigger, a backward (wet) stroke, and a forward
and backward (dry)stroke, releasing the trigger.
Continue this until the water you see coming up
the nozzle is clear.

Turnpowerand heaterswitchesOFF(0).
Unplugthe machineandwrapthe powercord.

After emptyingthe 2-in-1 water tank, rinse
it out at a faucet with running hot tap water,
taking care to clean underneaththe heavy
duty bladder,andall around it.

The top half of the tank can be rinsedclean
through the nozzlearea.Also,popout the red
filter underneaththe top half of the tank and
rinsethat out.Replacebeforeputtingthe top
and bottomhalvesof the tank together.

Beforeyou placethe cleaned2-in-1watertank
backontothe machine,simplyunscrewthe floor
nozzleusinga Phillipshead_ screwdriver.
This
can berinsedoutat the faucet.Thenreplace
backontothe machinebystartingfrom the
bottomof the nozzleandhookingthe tabsinto
the holeson the bottomsidesd the machine.
Secureintoplacewiththe screw.

can be wiped out with a clean papertowel,
or, if a morethoroughcleaningis desired,the
end capscan be takenoff using a Phillips
head_ screwdriverandrinsedclean.

brushrollsandthrownaway.Forthe most

Removethe clear end cap by unscrewing
the 2 black screws. Takecare not to drop
the screws into the unit.

Remove1 silver screw.

Removepivot arm by gently lifting up.

Removesmall brush belt.

Replacesmallbrushbelt, andreverse
