2 Purpose of this Manual
The purpose of this manual is to define guidance on the usage of the BGS2 cellular radio module under
its FCC ID: W77BLGSM1. The module is manufactured and sold by Gemalto M2M GmBH under FCC ID:
QIPBGS2, but Blackline GPS obtained a Change in Identification for the module for the purpose of filing
class II permissive changes to the grant as they relate to specific RF exposure conditions.

3 FCC Compliance Statement
The host product must be labeled with the following:
Contains FCC ID: W77BLGSM1
The host product manual must include following statements:
“This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two
conditions:
(1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and
(2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause
undesired operation.”
Changes or modifications, not expressly approved by Blackline GPS, may void the user’s authority to
operate the equipment.
The antenna(s) used for this transmitter must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least
20cm from all persons and must not be co-located or operated in conjunction with any antenna or
transmitter not described under this FCC ID. The final product operating with this transmitter must
include operating instructions and antenna installation instructions, for end-users and installers to
satisfy RF exposure compliance requirements.
This device is approved for use in specific co-located configurations in generic host platforms as
described in this filing. See “Loner Bridge RF Exposure Compliance and Appendices.”
