for the RF3401
Wireless (RF) PointTransmitter
1.0 GENERAL INFORMATION
The RF3401 PointTransmitter is a UL Listed, magnetic and dry con-
tact wireless transmitter used lor monitoring doors. windows or other
dry contact devices.
The unit is equipped With an internal reed contact for use With an
external magnet assembly, a cover tamper swuch and RF superin-
sion. The RF3401 also has the capability to accept a supervised dry
contact input lrorn an external device.
Supervision is provided by transmitting a low power level signal to the
receiver every 70 minutes it there is no other activity. All transmis~
sions from the RF3401 send battery status information to the panel.

- If the battery was installed in the PointTransmitter, remove it at this
time
' Using a small screwdriver, gently lift the printed circuit board away
trom the case mounting clips. You do not need to remove the cover
to remove the board.
0 Rock the board gently to loosen the battery clips trorn the case and
to slide the board away from the mounting clips near the area where
the cover connects to the base.
