SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
PRECAUTIONS
1. Keep the device away from water and damp
areas.
Water or other liquids may cause overheating,
electrical leakage, and failure of the device.
2. Do not try to disassemble the device.
This can cause electric shock and failure of the device.
Tampering will also void the device’s warranty.
3. Put the device in a safe and stable place.
4. Keep away from dust and heat radiation (i.e.
microwaves, stoves, etc.)
5. Try to use the device away from ordinary
teledevices, television sets, radios, and automated
office equipment to avoid interference between the
devices.
6. Use clean soft dry cloth to wipe the device. Do
not use any chemical agents.
7. Do not put the device near explosive or
inflammable materials.
5
8. Use the device only within the temperature
range of -20ºC ~ 40ºC and humidity range of
0%~90%.

SAFETY INFORMATION
1. EXPOSURE TO RADIO FREQUENCY (RF)
ENERGY
Your device contains a transmitter and a receiver.
When it is ON, it receives and also sends out radio
frequency (RF) signals. When you communicate with
your device, the system controls the power level at
which your device transmits.
Your device is designed to comply with local
regulatory requirements in your country concerning
exposure of human beings to RF energy.
2. OPERATIONAL PRECAUTIONS
To assure optimal device performance and make sure
human exposure to RF energy is within the guidelines
set forth in the relevant standards; always adhere to
the following procedures.
3. EXTERNAL ANTENNA CARE
Use only the supplied Avvio approved antenna.
Unauthorized antennas, modifications, or attachments
could damage the device.
Do NOT hold the antenna when the device is IN USE.
Holding the antenna affects communication quality
7
and may cause the device to operate at a higher
power level than needed. In addition, use of
unauthorized antennas may result in non-compliance
with the local regulatory requirements in your country.
4. DEVICE OPERATION
To maintain compliance with RF energy exposure
guidelines, ensure the device antenna is at least 1.5
centimeters from your body when transmitting.
5. APPROVED ACCESSORIES
Use of accessories not approved by Avvio, including
but not limited to batteries and antennas, may cause
your device to exceed RF energy exposure guidelines.
6. RF ENERGY INTERFERENCE/
COMPATIBILITIES
Nearly every electronic device is susceptible to RF
energy interference from external sources if
inadequately shielded, designed, or otherwise
configured for RF energy compatibility. In some
circumstances your device may cause interference.
7. MEDICAL DEVICES
1) Pacemakers
Pacemaker manufacturers recommend that a
minimum separation of 10 inches (25centimeters) be
8
maintained between the fixed wireless device and a
pacemaker.
Persons with pacemakers should:
Always keep the device more than 10 inches (25
centimeters) from your pacemaker when the device is
turned ON. Turn OFF the device immediately if you
have any reason to suspect that interference is taking
place.
2) Other Medical Devices
If you use any other personal medical device, consult
the manufacturer of your device to determine if it is
adequately shielded from RF energy. Your physician
may be able to assist you in obtaining this information.
8. BATTERIES
Batteries can cause property damage and / or bodily
injury such as burns if a conductive material such as
jewelry, keys, or beaded chains touches exposed
terminals. The conductive material may complete an
electrical circuit (short circuit) and become quite hot.
Exercise care in handling any charged battery,
particularly when placing it inside a pocket, purse or
other container with metal objects. Use only original
batteries and chargers.
9
Please don’t use any damaged battery or charger and
use the battery only for its intended purpose.
Don’t apply extreme shock to the battery. It’s
dangerous to disassemble a battery or to apply
extreme shock to the battery via nail or heavy metal
objects.
Keep the charger or batteries out of reach of small
children or babies.
Always try to keep the battery between -10 ~ 55
Celsius.
Use only manufacturer approved rechargeable
batteries and charger designated for this devise.
Caution
Risk of explosion if battery replaced aced by an
incorrect type.
Dispose of used batteries according to the
instructions.
10
9. Seizures / Blackouts
Some people may be susceptible to epileptic seizures
or blackouts when exposed to flashing lights, such as
when watching television or playing video games.
These seizures or blackouts may occur even if a
person never had a previous seizure or blackout.
If you experienced seizures or blackouts, or if you
have a family history of such occurrences, please
consult with your doctor.

FCC NOTICE TO USERS
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules.
Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
(1) This device may not cause harmful interference,
and (2) this device must accept any interference
received, including interference that may cause
undesired operation.
This device has been tested and found to comply with
the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part
15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to
provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference in a residential installation. This
equipment generates, uses and can radiated radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in
accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful
interference to radio communications. However, there
is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a
particular installation If this equipment does cause
harmful interference to radio or television reception,
which can be determined by turning the equipment off
and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the
21
interference by one or more of the following
measures:
-Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
-Increase the separation between the equipment and
receiver.
-Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit
different from that to which the receiver is connected.
-Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV
technician for help.
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by
the party responsible for compliance could void the
user‘s authority to operate the equipment.
RF Exposure Information (SAR)
This device meets the government’s requirements for
exposure to radio waves.
This device is designed and manufactured not to
exceed the emission limits for exposure to radio
frequency (RF) energy set by the Federal
Communications Commission of the U.S.
Government.
The exposure standard for wireless device employs a
unit of measurement known as the Specific
22
Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit set by the
FCC is 1.6W/kg. *Tests for SAR are conducted using
standard operating positions accepted by the FCC
with the device transmitting at its highest certified
power level in all tested frequency bands. Although
the SAR is determined at the highest certified power
level, the actual SAR level of the device while
operating can be well below the maximum value.
This is because the phone is designed to operate at
multiple power levels so as to use only the power
required to reach the network. In general, the closer
you are to a wireless base station, the lower the
power output.
The highest SAR value for the device as reported to
the FCC when tested for use at worn on the body, as
described in this user guide, is 1.190W/kg (Body-worn
measurements differ among device models,
depending upon available enhancements and FCC
requirements.)
While there may be differences between the SAR
levels of various devices and at various positions,
23
they all meet the government requirement.
The FCC has granted an Equipment Authorization for
this model phone with all reported SAR levels evaluat
ed as in compliance with the FCC RF exposure guidel
ines. SAR information on this model phone is on file
with the FCC and can be found under the Display
Grant section of http://www.fcc.gov/oet/fccid after
searching on FCC ID: WVBAGT860.
For body worn operation, this phone has been tested
and meets the FCC RF exposure guidelines for use
with an accessory that contains no metal and the
positions the handset a minimum of 1.5 cm from the
body. Use of other enhancements may not ensure
compliance with FCC RF exposure guidelines. If you
do not use a body-worn accessory and are not
holding the phone at the ear, position the handset a
minimum of 1.5 cm from your body when the phone is
switched on.
24
