Dr.Show Meeting GatewayQuick Start GuideA)Connect the Meeting Gateway1.Plug one end of astandard UTPEthernet cable intothe MeetingGateway's LAN Port.2.Connect the other endof the Ethernet cableinto a networked hubor switch.3.Connect yourprojector to theMeeting Gateway'sVideo (VGA) portwith the VGA cablecame with yourprojector.Plug one end of the VGA cable to the Mconnect the other end to the computer in4.Plug the power adapter cord into theMeeting Gateway's Power port.5.Plug the power adapter into a power outl6.Press the Power Switch to turn on theMeeting Gateway.7.Power on the projector and select its inpfrom the computer port. The MeetingGateway's on-screen menu will show oB)Configure the Meeting GatThe on-screen menu requires the IR remote ckeyboard connected to the Meeting Gateway.1.Select the System Setupmenu.2.Enter the administrationpassword (default is654321)
3.Change the IP settings to  valid values  for your LAN.4.Change the wireless settings (ESSID, Channel, WEP) if necessary.Use a different name and Channel from nearby Access Points.C)Install the PlayerUtilityYou need the Player Utility on yourcomputer to use the MeetingGateway.1.Load the utilities CD-ROM in your computer.2.The setup utility will startwith the welcome screen,click the Next button tocontinue.3.The setup utility will choosea default folder to install theutility files. Click Browseif you want to choose    adifferent folder. Click Nextto continue.4.The Meeting Gateway Playerutility is now installed.Select Yes to launch theplayer after the installation.Click the Finish button. AMeeting Gateway Playericon will show on yourdesktop.D)Use the Player Utility1.Double click on the program icon of the Gateway Player" on your desktop.2.The first time when thePlayer utility starts, it willask you to set a password.Enter the password and clickNext to continue. You canchange the passwordafterward in the AdvancedPanel.3.The player utility will startsearching for the MeetingGateway on your local areanetwork.
4.After the search, the ListPanel will appear.5.Click on the drop downbutton at the right side of theentry box. A list of all theMeeting Gateways foundwill appear.6.Please highlight one of the available Meeting Gateway to select theMeeting Gateway to use.7.Click Next to enter the PlayerPanel.!Click Play will start to showthe computer's desktop tothe Meeting Gateway.Click Stop to stop sendingscreen updates to theMeeting Gateway.!Upload Presentation.Click Upload. A file selectdialog box will appear.Select a PowerPoint file toupload. Click Next tocontinue.8.Click Advanced to flip openthe Advanced panel withmore buttons.E)Advanced ConfigurationThe administration utility allows you to chwireless security and other settings of the Mcomputer with a webbrowser.1.Click the Managerbutton in theAdvanced Panel ofthe Player utility.2.The AdministrationUtility will start inyour web browser.Enter theadministrator password (default is "654Login button to login.3.Click the System Tab!Hostname  -  Thename to identify thisMeeting Gateway.Enter the hostsname,Click Apply.Following Tabs only available on Wireless4.Click the WirelessLAN Tab!Channel  -  Select awireless channel touse from the list.!NetworkName(ESSID)  -The Network Name
is for other wireless devices to identify and join the MeetingGateway. IF there is multiple wireless Meeting Gateway nearby,you should set an unique name for each Meeting Gateway.5.Click the EncryptionTab.The Encryption pageallows you to set orchange the encryptionkeys for the WEP. Ifyou turn on the WEP ofthe Meeting Gateway,all other wirelessdevices want to connectto it should also useWEP and with the same encryption keys.!Encryption (Disable/64Bits/128Bits)  -  Select Disable for noWEP encryption. Select 64 or 128 Bits to enable WEP encryption.Some wireless device may not support 128 Bits encryption.!WEP Key Entry    -    Manually enter a set of four keys. If you areusing 64 Bits encryption, then each key must consist of exactly 10hexadecimal characters in length. f you are using 128 Bitsencryption, then each key must consist of exactly 26 hexadecimalcharacters in length.F)Show Stored Presentations1.On the Meeting Gateway'son-screen menu, select theSlide Show menu.2.Select the folder with thename of your computer, andpress Play to display yourpresentation slides.3.Use the Forward/Backwardon the remote controller orPgUp/PgDn on thekeyboard to move to next/previous slide.The Infra-Red Remote ControllerThe Infra-Red remote control allows you tscreen menu of the Meeting Gateway.Remote call up the Remote Display meSlide call up the Remote Display meLaser light up the Laser pointer.Play as the Play button of the on-scmenu.Add as the Add button of the on-scmenu.Delete as the Delete button of the on-menu.Exit exit from the current menu or sMouse Cursor.Left mouse key.Right mouse key.Tab moves the focus between the itForward & Backward      move forwShow.Up&Dn cursor Up and Down.Enter The Enter key.Numeric Keypad        The number kwww.digirose.c
