The lightning flash with arrow-head symbol within an equilateral triangle
is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated “dangerous
voltage” within the unit’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude
to constitute a risk of electric shock.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert
the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance
(servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the unit.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
All the safety and operating instructions should be read, adhered to and followed
before the unit is operated.

DANGER

POWER CORD INSTRUCTION
SHORT CORD INSTRUCTION
A short power-supply cord should be used to reduce the risk resulting from becoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Extension cords are available and may be
used if care is exercised in their use. If extension cord is used: the marked electrical
rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical
rating of the appliance; and the longer cord should be arranged so that it will not
drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over, snagged, or pulled
on unintentionally. If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should
be a grounding-type 3-wire cord.

POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the
risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit,
contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.

Towel spa® operation
Selecting a towel
Your Towel Spa® will warm 2 bath sheets measuring approximately 40" x 70".

2 . Open the lid and place your towel inside.
3 . Close the lid.

Spa® carefully when the RED CAUTION LIGHT is illuminated.
5. T

indicating that the internal heater has automatically switched off. You may
use your towel at this time, or leave your towel in the warmer for up to

Troubleshooting
Problem Solution
My Towel Spa®
failed to turn on.

Make sure the Towel Spa® is properly plugged
into a wall outlet. Be sure the Appliance Leakage
Current Interrupter (ALCI) is functioning properly.

NOTE: To test the ALCI for proper function,
turn on the appliance connected to the ALCI.
Press the TEST button and the appliance should
immediately turn off. Pressing the RESET button
will restore power to the appliance or circuit.
Also, be sure the lid of the Towel Spa®
is securely closed.
My Towel Spa® is
taking too long
to warm towels.

Be sure to only use dry towels; using damp
towels will greatly extend the recommended
20-minute warming cycle.

My Towel Spa®
will not work two
times in a row.

If your Towel Spa® does not function
properly after a towel warming cycle,
allow the Towel Spa® to cool down before
subsequent uses, and make sure
RED CAUTION LIGHT is off.

If you are still having problems with your Towel Spa® after trying the above tips,
please call Brookstone® Customer Service at 1-800-846-3000.
