Wireless Temperature Sensor for Food Applications
Installation and Operation Instructions
Description
The Building Automation Products, Inc. Wireless Temperature Sensor, Model BA/WFP-x is a battery operated,
mobile sensor with a 418 MHz radio transmitter. [x = S for the straight probe version and B for the bent probe]
The BA/WFP-x is designed to require very little energy; the internal 3.6 Volt Lithium battery will operate the
sensor for 2 to 3 years in normal operation
The BA/WPF-x enclosure is designed to mount on the side of food container through the use of different clips.
The sensor’s height is adjustable to ensure proper food temperature monitoring. The enclosure is a three part,
specially designed enclosure which allows for identification, battery replacement and proper cleaning.
The BA/WPF-x has one internal push-button which allows for easy training and identification of the transmitter.
The push-button is used when linking the transmitter to a Receiver Module. See BAPI’s INS/OPS for details.
The BA/BPF-x also has an internally mounted LED. The LED will flash briefly when the sensor transmits a
data packet using the 418 MHz radio. This happens roughly about once every 10 seconds or shortly after the
use of the push-button.
Upgrade to BAPI. 100% Compatible. Guaranteed.
