FCC Test Report, FCC ID: ANO20040600BTL Document Number: FCC 19-0271-1 IBM Japan Ltd. 1623-14, Shimotsuruma, Yamato-shi Kanagawa-ken 242-8502, Japan July 23, 2004 To whom this may concern TCB Requested Information FCC ID : ANO20040600BTL Applicant : International Business Machines Corporation Correspondence Reference Number : 240722A.ANO 731 Confirmation Number : 4245 Original Requested Date : July 22, 2004 Subject 1) The statement listed in Section 15.21 of the Rules is required to be placed in every User's Manual for a Part 15 device. The language in the submitted Manual Regulatory information, while similar, does not state that the user's authority to operate the equipment may be voided if unauthorized changes are made. Please modify the current language to bring it into line with the language required by the Rule. This, of course, applies to both the 15C and 15E applications, as they have the same manual. Answer 1) IBM would revise the manual as follows by the product shipment. The sentence is common for both the 15C and 15E since the applying module transmitter is a composite device.
