5.Installation
5.1MainUnit
Themainunitcanbeplacedontoanyflatsurface(C3),orwallmountedbythe
hanginghole(C1)atthebackoftheunit.
5.2OutdoorThermosensor
Theremotesensorshouldbesecurelymountedontoahorizontalsurface.
Note:Transmissionsbetweenreceiverandtransmittercanreachupto100min
openarea.OpenArea:therearenointerferingobstaclessuchasbuildings,
trees,vehicles,highvoltagelines,etc.
6.RFTransmission
Themainunitautomaticallystartsreceivingtransmissionfromoutdoorthermo
sensorforoutdoortemperatureafterbatteriesinserted.RFicon“ ”flashes
ontheLCD.
Thethermosensorunitwillautomaticallytransmittemperaturesignaltothe
mainunitafterbatteriesinserted.
Ifmainunitfailedtoreceivetransmissionfromoutdoorthermosensorinfirst3
minutesafterthebatteriesinserted,“‐‐.–”displayontheLCD.
Hold“SEARCH”button(B8)for3secondstoreceivetransmissionmanually.
Press“C/F”button(D4)onthermosensorunittoselecttemperaturetobe
displayedinCelsiusmodeorFahrenheitmode.
7.TimeandAlarmSetting
7.1RadioControlledClock:
Afterbatteriesinsertedandmainunitfinishesreceivingthetransmissionfrom
outdoorthermosensor,theclockautomaticallystartstoscantheWWVBtime
signal.RadioControlIcon“ ”flashesontheLCD.

Note:

secondstoadjusttootherzones“P”“M”or“C”.
(3) DST:WhenDSTfunctionisactivated,andit’sinDaylightSavingMode(RCCsignal

7.3DailyAlarmFunction:
Press“MODE”button(B3)toselecttoviewalarmTime,“AL”shownonthe
display
WhenviewingtheAlarmTime,hold“MODE”button(B3)for3secondstoenter
AlarmTimesetting.Press“+”(B2)or“‐”(B4)buttontoadjustthealarmtime.
Press“MODE”button(B3)toconfirmthesetting.
7.4SnoozeAlarmFunction:
Press“ALON/OFF”Button(B6)toactivateordeactivatethealarm.Ifthealarmis
on,alarmicon" "appearsonthedisplay.
Whenalarmalerts,pressanybuttontostopthealarm.Otherwise,thealarm
signalsoundsforabout2minutes,thenstopsautomatically.
Press“SNOOZE”(B1)buttonwhenalarmalerts.Thealarmsnoozesfor5minutes,
thenitalertsagain.“ ”flashesontheLCDduringthesnoozetime.Thisprocess
canberepeated7times.
Except“SNOOZE”button(B1),pressanybuttontostopsnoozealarm.

Press“12/24”(B2)buttontoselect12or24hoursmode.

Press“ALERT ”button(B7)tosettheOutdoorTe mperature Alertfunctiononor
off,“ ”appearsontheLCDiftemperaturealertfunctionisactivated.
Hold“ALERT”button(B7)for3secondstoenteroutdoortemperaturealert
setting,upperlimiticon“ ”flashonthedisplay.
Press“+”(B2)or“‐”(B4)buttontosettheupper” ”andlower“ ”limitofthe
outdoortemperature.Press“ALERT ”button(B7)toconfirmthesetting.
9.Low battery indication:
Thelowbatteryicon“ ”turnsonthedisplay(besidetheoutdoortemperature),
indicatingthatthermosensorinlowbatterystatus.Thebatteriesshouldbe
replaced.
10.Precautions
Useapintopresstheresetbutton(B5)iftheUnitdoesnotworkproperly.
AllSettingModeswillautomaticallyexitin15secondswithoutanyadjustment.
Theclocklosesitstimeinformationwhenthebatteryisremoved.
Avoidplacingtheclocknearinterferencesources/metalframessuchascomputer
orTVsets.
Donotexposeittodirectsunlight,heavyheat,cold,highhumidityorwetareas
