GPS GPS (Global Positioning System) is a system to identify the current position on the earth by receiving highly precise positional information sent from a satellite. The current speed may not be displayed in the following locations and environments because of no GPS acquisition. • In a tunnel, underground, between high-rise buildings, under an overpass, etc. • In bad weather (snow, rain, etc.) • Near a high-voltage line or a mobile telephone relay station. • When the display on the main unit does not face upward to the sky. When no speed sensor is used: This unit can measure Current speed using GPS signals, without any speed sensor installed; however in such cases, the following phenomena may occur. • The measurement values may have larger differences from actual values, than when a speed sensor is used. • This unit cannot measure in a location where no GPS signal is received. About ANT+ standard ANT+ is a low-power-consumption digital communication standard using frequency of 2.4GHz.
