3 Operation Guide (with commercial power)
3.1 Volume control
Ringer volume control: Plane in the on-hook status, press “ Volume+/-” key to adjust the ring
volume, press “Volume+” to increase volume, press “Volume-” to
decrease volume, there are 5-step volume levels; When tuned to the
maximum or minimum sound level would have a warning beep.
Handset in on-hook status, press “ Volume+/-” key to adjust the ring
volume, press “Volume+” to increase volume, press “Volume-” to
decrease volume, there are 5-step volume levels; When tuned to the
maximum or minimum sound level would have a warning beep.
Receive volume control：Plane or mobile handset phone in the off-hook mode, press
"Volume+/-" key to adjust the receive volume of the phone, press
the "Volume+" key is the volume increase and click "Volume-" key
is the volume decrease; there are 5-step volume levels; when
tuned to the maximum or minimum sound level would have a
warning beep.
3.2 pickup and hang-up
Base unit：on-hook status, press line or speaker key to pick up with speaker; again，after the
talking, press line or speaker key again to hung-up.
Handset：Press “ON/OFF” key in the handset faceplate to pickup or hung-up.
3.3 hold
Base unit：under off-hook status, press hold key, the phone enter into holding status, at the
same time the line light quickly flashing, press hold or speaker key to resume the
talking .
Handset：under off-hook status, press hold key, the phone enter into holding status, at the
same time the on/off light flashing, press hold key again to resume the talking ;
when the handset is holding, place handset into plane, then take up the handset,
the phone auto retrieve holding, resume talking.
3.4 Mute
After talking, press “Mute” key, the terminal sending is closed, at the same time Mute light is
lighten; press “Mute” key again, resume talking.
3.5 Redial
After picking up, press “Redial” key, the phone will dial out the last number, the maximum
dial is 24 bits; after half an hour, the redial number would automatically remove. If this dial is the
first or not dial for a long time, after press “redial” key, the phone will give a warning prompt.
3.6 Message
The phone message switch is set to type status, the base outside power voltage is more than
60v, the message light will be lighten; the base outside power voltage is more than 15v, the
message light will be flashing once when the outside voltage reversal once.
3.7 Page
3.7.1 Call the handset
Under on-hook status, press ”page” key to call the handset, and then the line light flash
slowly; if some handsets is online, they will ringer, at the same time the handset’s message and
on/off indicator light flash. Press”page” key again or any key in the handset or place the handset
into the plane, the base unit will auto exit from the calling handset mode.
3.7.2 Register handset
Manual register: press down “Page” key for 3 seconds, the line indicator begin quickly
flashing, the base unit enter into the register mode, and then press “*” key in the handset until
the phone give an “toot” prompt tone, release the “*” key, the handset enter into the register
mode, when the base and the handset matches successfully, and then the phone will give a beep
prompt sound. Every base unit most can register 5 handsets.
Auto register: the handset is on-hook status, place it into the plane with on-hook status,
keep charging piece of contact stability, the plane charging indicator will light up, the base and
the mobile phone enter registered mode at the same time, if registered success will give a
prompt sound.
3.7.3 Delete handset
Press ”Page” key for 3 seconds, the line indicator begins quickly flash, the base unit enter
into register mode, and then press “line” key for seventh, when the line indicator stop flashing, all
of the registered handset are deleted. The phone will auto reboot.
3.8 Switches between base and handset
If the handset have registered with base unit, then the handset and base can switch freely;
from the handset switch to base can press “speaker” key in the base unit; press “ON/OFF” key in
the handset to switch from base to handset.
3.9 Switches between handsets
Every base unit can most register 5 handsets, if one of the handsets is picking up, the rest of
any one can press “ON/OFF” key to switch talking to the current using one, the “ON/OFF”
indicator of the other handsets will flash to prove the phone is using; if have registered 5
handsets to the same base, and cannot register the sixth handset, the phone will give a warning
sound.
3.10 Speed dial function of the handset
The handset is under on-hook status:
Press down “1” key for 3 seconds to call the number stored in message on the base unit;
Press down “2” key for 3 seconds to call the number stored in M6 on the base unit;
Press down “3” key for 3 seconds to call the number stored in M7 on the base unit;
Press down “4” key for 3 seconds to call the number stored in M8 on the base unit;
Press down “5” key for 3 seconds to call the number stored in M9 on the base unit;
Press down “6” key for 3 seconds to call the number stored in M10 on the base unit;
If the base unit cannot store any number, these operations can only pick up with the handset.
4 Program key
4.1 Flash
The base unit is pick up, press “store” key, hear of “toot” sound, the message indicator
begins flashing at the same time, and the phone enter into configuration mode, after pressing
any numeric key (0 represents flash time is 1000ms, 1 represents 100ms… 9 represents 900ms),
press “store” key again, press “flash” key at last; after the flash time set successfully, the phone
will give a long “toot” prompt sound.
The flash time set range is 100-1000ms.
4.2 Pause
Under configuration mode, redial key can be reused Pause function key.
The base unit is pick up, press “store” key, hear of “toot” sound, the message indicator
begins flashing at the same time, and the phone enter into configuration mode, after pressing
any numeric key (0 represents Pause time is 10s, 1 represents 1s… 9 represents 9s), press “store”
key again, press “Pause” key at last; after the Pause time set successfully, the phone will give a
long “toot” prompt sound.
The Pause time set range is 1-10s
4.3 Memory key 和 Message
The base unit is pick up, press “store” key, hear of “toot” sound, the message indicator
begins flashing at the same time, and the phone enter into configuration mode, input the
number of storage, press “store” key again, press “Memory or Message” key at last; after storage
success, the phone will give a long “toot” prompt sound. Otherwise if store is error, the phone
will give an alarm sound.
5 Phone function without commercial power
Ringer: the plane has a built-in buzzer; when a new call, the buzzer will give ringer prompt sound.
Pick up: according to pressing line key to pick up.
Dial: under off-hook status, the loudspeaker has received sound, can directly press keypad to dial
number.
Hung-up: after talking, press the speaker or line key to hung up.
Note: without commercial power, the base unit only supports dialing and calling, all of the
indicator cannot light up, the redial, hold, flash and handset cannot work.
6 Installing phone
Caution information
l Never install telephone or network wiring during a lightning storm.
l Never install telephone or Ethernet jacks in wet locations unless the jack is specially designed for wet
locations.
l Never touch uninstalled telephone wires or terminals unless the telephone line has been
disconnected at the network interface.
l Use caution when installing or modifying telephone and network lines.
l Be sure your power adaptor meets your regions requirements prior to installation.
6.1 Connect power line cord
Two line cords are provided 1-RJ45 & 1-RJ11.
To install, simply plug one end of the RJ45 cord into the modular jack at the top end of the base
unit and the other end into the RJ45 Phone Jack on the power adaptor. Take other line cord and plug
into Line jack on power adaptor, then plug other end into wall. Finish by plugging power adaptor into
normal wall outlet.
Be sure your power adaptor is specified for your region of the world prior to plugging into the wall
socket.
6.2 Battery for handset
Charging the Handset Battery: (On Base and Charging Station)
The handset Battery is a Ni-MH battery. This battery requires a Full charge prior to use to ensure long
life. To charge the battery, complete the installation procedure by plugging the power source into the
wall outlet and the telephone base or charging station.
Install the battery the battery per below instructions, inserting battery plug into receptacle.
Place battery into opening in handset, press into place, then replace cover and place handset into
base (face down) or charging station (face down).
Battery Life - When Completely Charged:
Talk time:
7.5 hours
Standby: (handset off hook) 6 days
Charge for 24 hours to ensure a fully charged battery
Installing Battery into Handset:
1. Hands holding the handset and gently push up handset back shell,
2. Take back shell off, exposing the battery compartment,
3. Slide battery plug into receptacle, matching up slot and opening on receptacle,
4. Do not force battery.
5. Press on back end of battery to snap into place.
6. Put the back shell of handset into slot, then press down and snap into place.

by the ACTA. On the bottom of this equipment is a label that contains, among other
information, a product identifier in the format US: 2N3W411BCETIS201. If requested,
this number must be provided to the telephone company.
2. A plug and jack used to connect this equipment to the premises wiring and telephone
network must comply with the applicable FCC Part 68 rules and requirements adopted
by the ACTA. A compliant telephone cord and modular plug is provided with this
product. It is designed to be connected to a compatible modular jack that is also
compliant. See installation instructions for details.
3. If this equipment [US: 2N3W411BCETIS201] causes harm to the telephone network,
the telephone company will notify you in advance that temporary discontinuance of
service may be required. But if advance notice isn't practical, the telephone company
will notify the customer as soon as possible. Also, you will be advised of your right to

7. Connection to party line service is subject to state tariffs. Contact the state public utility
commission, public service commission or corporation commission for information.
8. If your home has specially wired alarm equipment connected to the telephone line,
ensure the installation of this [W4] does not disable your alarm equipment. If you have
questions about what will disable alarm equipment, consult your telephone company
or a qualified installer.
