Section I Introduction

PCI adapter is based upon Industry Standard PCI
local bus specification revision 2.0. that features the

connection over unshieldzd twisted-pair (UT?) cable.
The adapm automatically senses and switches to
either 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps. This 10/100 Mbps

Section 2 Card Installation
This section describes how to install your Ethernet
adapter. Perform the following steps to install the
adapter.
1. mm ofl‘ your computer and all peripherals.
2. Make finale of the cables and wrt‘ls that are con-
nected to the computer and discmnect them
3. Remove your personal wmpum‘s covet (refer w
the nwncfs manual of your personal comma).
4. Select any available bus mastering PCI slot, and

5. Carefully install the Ethernet adapter into the
expansion slotby firmlypiessing the card into the
cunnecwr slot until the adapter is snugly seated
in the expansion slot then hasten the retaining
bracketwifl- screw from the slot cover.
6. Reinstall your pmcnzl computer’s cover and
reconnect the power card and all cables.

Before you connect your lU/lOOBASE-TX Fast
Ethernet PC! adapter to the now/ark, you have to
install lhc network driver first. You should use the
netwurk driver supplied by the sufiwlre diskette that
is compatible with your Network counting Systems.
