Foot Pedal Maintenance
Checking Foot Pedal Battery
The foot pedal unit contains two AA 1.5V batteries. It
is recommended to keep back-up batteries of this type
in your office.
When battery is low, the following indications will be
provided by the system:
Pressing a foot pedal causes no response within
the iTero Scanner software.
A warning dialog requests that the battery be
replaced.
Replacing Foot Pedal Battery
To change the foot pedal battery, follow the instructions below:
1. Open the battery cover
2. Replace batteries with new ones and close the cover.
CAUTION: Be sure to follow local governing ordinances and recycling instructions
regarding disposal or recycling of batteries.
CAUTION: Refer to qualified service personnel for verifying that pedal dongle is
assembly on HDU cart.
