Product Description: The MS100 motion sensor is
vehicle mounted and monitors vibrations resulting
from movement of the vehicle. The MS100 motion
sensor is triggered after the piezo film sensor
mounted on the PCB detects movement for a
continuous one-minute period. The motion sensor,
which is a three wire device, provides a positive
output when triggered. The MS100 motion sensor
device contains a receiver that receives a signal from
the KF100 Key FOB.
The MS100 motion sensor trigger circuit is by-passed
when it receives a signal from the KF100 Key FOB.
The Key FOB emits a RF output every 70 seconds
and when the signal is received by the motion sensor
the trigger circuit is inactivated for four minutes.
Mounting the MS-100: The MS100 motion sensor
can be mounted either vertically or horizontally.
Performance will not vary when the module is
mounted in either of these positions. Mounting
brackets have been provided in the tooled plastic
case to aid in installation of the module. The module
should be mounted in a location of the automobile,
away from heat and in an area that will provide
accurate detection if the vehicle is moved or towed.
Key FOB: The KF-100 Key FOB is manufactured
to be carried with the vehicles owners keys. A 3.6 volt
lithium battery should be replaced in the FOB every
eighteen months to assure maximum range and to
avoid the MS100 from false triggering.

Adjustments: The MS100 film sensor and KF100
Key FOB are pre adjusted from the manufacturer and
“DO NOT” require additional tuning or adjusting.
Wiring: The MS100 film sensor has three wires that
must be connected in order for the module to work
properly. The “RED” wire is connected to positive
volts DC. The “BLACK” wire is connected to negative
12 volts DC. The “GREEN” wire produces a positive
12 volt DC output and is connected to the input of
another device, which could be an alarm device or a
communication device.
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
Operation is subject to the following tow conditions:
(1) This device may not cause harmful interference,
(2) This device must accept any interference received,
Including interference that may cause undesired
operation.
