9.user operation instruction (Draft) operation instmctions for this system are contained in the motor cycle‘s user manualfrom which the portions related to the system are transcribed below: keyless entry system By use of the remote transmitter, you can lock or unlock all doors or unlock only from a distance within about1.0m(3.2ft) of the vehicle. The operable distance varies depending on the environmental conditions. It may be shorter if there is a power plant, a broadcasting station or a television tower in the neighborhood. -Locking the doors Press the “Lock" button to lock all doors The turn signal light will flash once. When leaving the vehicle, pull the door handle to make sure that the doors have been locked. »Unlocking the doors Press the “Unlock” button to unlock all doors. The turn signal lights will flash twice. NOTE —If neither of the doors and the rear gate is opened within 30 seconds after pressing the “Unlock” button of the transmitter, all the doors and the rear gate will be automatically locked again. -The keyless entry system does not operate when the ignition key is inserted in the ignition switch. When any of the doors or the rear gate is not fully closed, the lock function does not operate.
